This melodious composition praises the beauty and elegance of the Tamil language. It’s echoes come from all eight directions and is held in the highest regard in every Tamilian's heart. Since Tamil is one of the oldest languages in the world, it’s origins are a mystery, yet the devotion to this language is expressed throughout this composition. In this performance, Tamil is personified as a sixteen year-old girl, who is adored by all three kings from the ancient Tamil dynasty. In fact, her greatness is so vast, that one lifetime is not enough to sing her praises. In essence, the dancer shows us how Tamil is full of colors and speaking it is the elixir of life.
