Dating from November 1994, this four minute promo is voiced by Ed Bishop.
Space Precinct is a British-American television series that was first broadcast from 1994 to 1995 on Sky One and later on BBC Two from 1995 to 1996 in the UK, and in first-run syndication in the United States. Many US stations scheduled the show in late night time slots, which resulted in low ratings and contributed to its cancellation.
The series was created by Gerry Anderson and was a mix of science fiction and police procedural that combined elements of many of Anderson's previous series such as Space: 1999, UFO and Thunderbirds, but with an added dash of Law & Order and Dragnet. Anderson was executive producer with Tom Gutteridge. One of the series' directors was John Glen, who had previously directed five James Bond films. There were a number of directors used on the series, but the majority of the episodes were edited by the series editors, Sue Robinson and Jason Krasucki.

Whilst this promo was badly done, there is something notable: Seeing as the Pilot Episode 'Welcome to Demeter City' was never completed, this is the only time (via Ed Bishop) that we hear some very limited exposition to explain why Lieutenant Brogan ended up going from the NYPD on Earth to Demeter with his family and some of the description of the characters. The demo seems to have been the usual attempt by Gerry Anderson to try selling the series in the US to potential investors, though I have to agree that this did the series no justice

Actually used to love it. Its 100% dated but it held its own back in the day.
Its a decent good show even if dated I still enjoy it. Tubi TV has the first season. Tubi TV is free just sign up for it, they have lots of great stuff.

Thats a hard sell. seems desperate. i bet a bunch of people got fired over this
The problem with this (and other SF shows) was how the movie/TV industry in Britain differs from (for example) the US studio environment. You can't get any decent stuff done when people throw down their work at 5-6 PM.
Not to bash the show, it's great for what it is, but it had some serious problems when it came to set/stage quality. I think some of the people involved already commented on that in recent years.
Awful awful crap, sadly I was reminded it existed today.
