- I made this video to help give future Dukies an idea of what freshman year will be like. My freshman college experience was the greatest time of my life and I can't wait for the next three years! Hopefully, students will watch this video and become eager to begin their journey at Duke University.

I guess I have two quick questions...would you say that Greek life is super dominant in the social scene? & is it relatively easy to "explore" your interests & take classes to figure out what exactly you want to do? I'm in Pratt rn but I'm seriously considering switching into Trinity b/c i'm not too interested in being an engineer anymore...
Hi Grayson! To answer you question, greek life is prominent on campus, but if you choose not to go greek, it won't be the "end-all-be-all". Lot's of people choose to be independent and your social life works out fine! With regards to your second question, if you're in Trinity, it is very easy to explore various interests that you may have. However, in Pratt, you are a bit restricted due to the large amount of core classes that are required for the unique departments of engineering.
Omg, Duke is my dream college (I plan on being a marine biologist) and I really hope I get accepted when I'm old enough to apply 😂 If you don't mind me asking, what is your major?

Hi! I mainly chose Duke because I loved the fact that there are both excellent academics and athletics. Another reason why I chose Duke is because it's not too far from home for me.
Would you say that Durham gets boring at times? From my research everyone's been saying that it gets boring considering that its less city and more greenery (small town)
