I should describe it that like pop punk as if your voice goes up and out and youay try to use wherever you may have a missing vocal range and make it powerful and the shape of you mouth is also a key... I have a small mouth and have to make my mouth flat and to the sides like a flat smile when I sing a nighwish song elan and I am only giving advice bc I know people may hurt their vocal chords and from my experience, I feel like I can sing something because I feel like a vibration in my larynx or voice box and throat...

The phantoms part is not low at all, it's very high for most male voices, and should be quite comfortable for female voices.

The story behind this was that, Christine(the main character) had a father that was a musician, and also had a voice that was beautiful. As a young girl, she loved singing whenever she got the chance. One day, she met a little boy named Chris( I think I got the name wrong) and became friends with him. She and him something in common--- they both loved music very much. So as time passed, they grew closer to each other and inevitably fell in love. But sadly, her father said had to continue on with his travels across Europe. Feeling sad, Christine said goodbye to Chris looking down at the floor. Chris had grown sad, and walked away slowly. Christine kept on singing, and by the time she had grown up, she was very beautiful and was suprisingly very skilled in in music talent. She decided she would return to France, and go to a theatre to perform. Everyone loved her. The audience and staff. And to her surprise, she found Chris, her childhood friend. They became close once again. During rehearsal at the theater one day, Christine heard a voice behind the curtain, begging her to follow follow the voice. She went, and saw a man with a mask on. Inquisitively, Christine asked, "Are you the angel of music?" She made this inquiry because the man was a musical genius, and was extremely skilled in music. He said, "Yes." Christine now found it was a good idea to practice along with him during her singing rehearsals. The next day, Christine was requested to attend the theater by Chris. She went. There they spent a few hours talking and rehearsing the show that was coming up in a few weeks. What they had not noticed was the fact that the man in the mask, or the Phantom of the opera, was behind the curtains, listening to them. He became jealous, and left. During there show, an unexpected mishap occurred. Someone had cut a chandelier during their show in the theater, and everybody was shocked. To Christine's surprise, The Phantom of the Opera came out of nowhere and had kidnapped her, and took her down into the floorboards. There were like trapdoors. There, Christine was worried, and asked why he had done such a thing. He said, "It's about time you know what's underneath this mask. I promise I won't hurt you, don't worry." Christine braced herself and grew excited for the outcome, but once the phantom removed the mask, she saw a face so horrible, it would make you want to throw up in your mouth. She ran away, and The phantom had saddened. After that, Christine made her way back to her home, and never wanted to go back. Well, too bad. They called her back, asking for a favor. She went back and yet again, was kidnapped by the phantom. He demanded that Christine married him, or else he would bring down the theater with everyone inside it. He took off the mask and went to kiss Christine on the head, but unexpectedly received a kiss from Christine. Asking no question, he said sadly, "I have never received a kiss. Not even from my own mother." He smiled and said, "Go my angel of music, go and stay with your friend. Marry him, if it makes you happy." And that's the end

I have always been a natural soprano and I always thought it was hard to reach these notes at a younger age then I am now but I did a lot of vocal training and I can reach notes higher then the notes reached in this song now. Note: I have done singing since I was 3 years old.
Try using (sorry if this isn't the real term but it's all I know) squeak tones. My choir teacher taught us that and I can sing the notes no problem but it takes a bit of practice to get a nice tone this way

I get a kick out of the comments judging Gerard and Emma for their acting and singing. I thought they did a great job! Emma has a great voice. Gerard is not a singer but did remarkably well, besides who cares! He played a fantastic Phantom. Recently I went to see the stage production and didn't find they sang any better than the movie version. However, I appreciate the hard work and passion that it takes to do a live show. It was breath taking! Stage actors don't get paid enough.

In this version of Phantom of the Opera, Christine looks like one of my classmates. Every time she left class, we would shout "No! Christine!" Also, I cannot sing any of Christine's parts because, even though I'm a girl, I don't have a high pitched voice at all. It's weird, but I can make it high-pitched.

I did not know that I could do this-- but I attempted and can hit that note. When I watched it preformed I thought it was absolutely insane. My voice now is in pain but just for the satisfaction it was completely worth it.
People commenting how they can reach the high notes and me here wondering why they still aren't famous and just asking validation from CZcams :-/
LOL...some of us are too old, heavy, and busy with our day jobs to be famous. Also, I don't live in LA or NY so I probably won't be discovered by a talent scout at a karaoke bar.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I managed to sing Christine's notes at the end one time as a kid. Cracked my cords and made them sound doubletone lol. Sadly that was probably the only time I will ever do it.
I can hit the really high notes at the end with my high pitched pubescent girl voice 😂 I impress myself
