      Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for coming by and watching again :) . Although basic, many of what I touched on in the video is contributes to stability and comfort while riding this wheel.

    Now that you've ridden both the Lynx and the Patton, could you compare/contrast the two wheels? I don't mean spec wise but purely from a ridability standpoint.

    • @WILSONsHobbies
      @WILSONsHobbies  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I will in a video but not certain when. However for now, Lynx has the immediate power available and reactive to forward or backwards than the Patton. Patton feels right for its size and weight but the Lynx feels like it could benefit more weight for stability. (Lynx feels heavier when you lift it though) . I will add more to this in a future video and thank you for the idea a lnd reminder to do this

      @oldretireddude Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@WILSONsHobbies I suppose accessories change the weight a little but, while similar, the Patton is actually listed as 1lb +/- heavier than the Lynx.

    Thanks. I have the Patton with the stock offroad tire and don't like it at all for on-road where it seems to have a mind of its own. No thanks. I get to decide where I go - not the unicycle. Maybe I'll try one of the Shinko tires if it comes in a size that fits the Patton.

      Shinko 241 is great for PATTON! (im sure the 244 would be a good choice as well:) I have the 241 installed on mine. I had the same issue and feeling as you described!

    Question: which seat do you prefer on the lynx tall or short(slim) and why? I wasn't sure if the lynx was already too tall to put a tall seat on it?

    • @WILSONsHobbies
      @WILSONsHobbies  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Well, good question. The seat I purchased was the 6cm version on EUCCRAZY's page on Etsy dot com. The leather seat i bought from there It is the only seat Ive ridden with on the Lynx. Since my height it at 5'7 I would say it is perfect for me. I can get into the squat easily without straining my knees. I am only guessing but the 6cm would be great for those for who are 5'5 - 5'8 and the 8cm for anyone 5'8 to 6'2. Hope that helps.

    If you put your Leatts on correctly, it might be easier to adjust your front pads ;-) You got them on the wrong legs in this video. The clips should be on the outside of your legs.

      Do it. I had the street tire and the 244 is far superior. But MAN it was a pain to get the tubeless unseated.

      @@dnthmn117 Why did you like 244 more than a road tire?

    • @dnthmn117
      @dnthmn117 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@97miguee makes the Lynx more versatile, and an off road monster. And the higher unsprung weight makes it awesome at high speeds since it adds to the stability.

    Doubt you have much range due to having to do it all standing. Your feet come off the pedals from a bad bump and you off , on a motorbike you can absorb shock with legs and arms, and hold on holf on with knees and hands. Riders I see on youtube wear black , on the road, so other than looking cool, an accident waiting to happen. Lose grip and like losing the front end of a motorbike , you off. Standing up, poor aerodynamics, I bet wind effects your speed alot.
