    The language of the marae
Is a genealogy to your ancestors
And to carry the beautiful language
    To the land of Tahwiro
    Here we are the seeds
Standing here as strong as ever
    With youthfull living essence
    While listening to the incarnations
Let there be peace and harmony

First heard this 13 years ago. I have no idea what it's about but the simple guitar, mum's voice and the harmonies make me feel so good. This is a VERY special recording.

Hahaha, this brings back memories when I was back at the marae. I can see and hear my aunties working hard in the wharekai saying, "Hey you slackers, stop mucking around with your sing-a-long and give us a hand in the kitchen. You can sing after all the work has finished!" Ahh the memories. Had heaps of fun too.
