Enjoyed Tony A on Triggernometry this year on the BS of Climate Catastrophy - here he seems more political in his answers - . Why do we " have to be careful not to have a moral panic "??
Moral action moral spine - we can do with more of that - if a Pastor or bishop being stabbed by a Muslim is hushed up and hidden away - we must act - and speak - . That stabbing of a bishop had everything to do with what Australia use to be - a people who knew right from wrong - and believed in God. The Muslim who was accepted in to Australia, had contempt for it and for christianity.
    Totally unacceptable.

OMG Tony Abbott is the one person that changed the way I had voted since 1972 when I was able to vote. Until then I always voted Liberal. When Abbott became Prime Minister and Peta Credlin his chief of staff we got two lunies who had no idea how to run a football raffle let alone a country. What made me mad was the party did nothing to rein this idiot in. there fore it was up to the party voters to either vote Labor or independent .
Turnbull was a good PM but not a puppet like Abbott, and Dutton is a fool but like Abbott makes a good puppet for his masters.
If a party goes too far right or left they will fail, unfortunately the Liberal party has not learn`t that lesson from the last election.
Until that changes my vote will go to mainly independent`s or God help me Labor. The majority of Australians whether you vote Liberal or Labor are either left or right of centre so not much difference between the two. That`s why we have had such great Governments over the years both parties. Yes both have made mistakes but we still live in the greatest country in the world. Any wonder we have people risking their lives to get here. And we still have the Tony Abbott`s of the world whinging.

Again, some of what's been discussed makes sense, but banning mobile devices is not the way to go with children. Educating them, which takes time and effort, is the way to go. A ban will only drive kids underground and in the end the temptation to get a device will be even greater. It also removes parents from the discussion about this very important step in life, learning to use these devices responsibly.

Abbott couldn’t be more right, liberalism and conservatism work together. ‘Progressivism’ which really means collectivism and ‘libertarianism’ which really means unrestrained freedom resulting in tyranny imposed upon the economically weak. Liberals and conservatism must band together, not act as though they are fundamentally at odds, because they’re not.

21:00 Nope! You lost me when you called for the abolition of anonymity on line. And no, I am not an apologist for “hate speech”, violence or depraved material online. What Mr Abbott isn’t factoring in, is the forcible imposition of Political Correctness on everyone. Please allow me to explain. In the golden days of freedom in the 1960s and 1970s, your employer didn’t really care about your politics (unless maybe you were an ardent Marxist-Leninist calling for revolution). You opinion was your own, and what you did out of working hours was pretty much no concern of your boss. That has all changed. People can and are losing their livelihood because of their social media content. People are facing jail time because of tweets. I am sorry, Tony, but you are arguing for an “own goal” for the Centre-Right. Hint: it won’t be the Marxist, extinct rebellion fanatics, the Critical Race Theory advocates, the angry proponents of intersectionality that gets silenced (or sacked!) if anonymity goes. I am a former office-holder in one of the biggest Lib branches in the country but I work in a super Woke organisation. I’d face the choice of being silenced or being unemployed and so would thousands of we covert Liberal-Conservatives.
