"Chronicled Wish will appear in the next filler update"-that's what everyone was thinking, including me. But 4.7 banners were announced with no word about Chronicled Wish. So in this video, let's talk about when the next Chronicled Wish might appear and who might be included.
Chronicled Wish was released in a filler update where we don’t get a new map or a new Archon quest.
From this, many players assumed that from now on, we could expect characters to rerun in Chronicled Wish during filler updates, which were expected to be x.5 and x.7 patches. But as you know, no word about it was mentioned in the special program.
I think everyone, including me, expected Chronicled Wish in 4.7 with characters from Liyue, and there were several points indicating that. First, 4.7 is a filler update; second, there are a lot of characters from Liyue that match the rules for appearing in Chronicled Wish; and lastly, from the info I've heard, the main event in 4.7 will happen in Liyue. As you may remember, the main event in 4.5 was in Mondstadt, so Chronicled Wish included most characters from Mondstadt.
Since we didn't get it in 4.7, we can say that there is no need for a patch to be a filler update for Chronicled Wish to appear, meaning we might see it in any patch. It's up to the developers.
But still, when can we expect the next one?
The answer that makes the most sense is 4.8, of course. 4.8 will be a summer event and the last patch before Natlan release. Developers must rerun as many characters as possible before the new region drops, because in Natlan, everyone will be more focused on new characters than old ones. Well, that’s the best-case scenario. Another possibility is that Chronicled Wish will appear with the same frequency as other character reruns, so it might be twice per region or only once. If we don't see it in 4.8, then it might be 5.5 because, as I mentioned earlier, in the early patches, everyone will be focused on the new characters.
Anyway, which characters might be in the next Chronicled Wish?
The most logical answer would be Liyue characters since we have a lot of characters from Liyue who meet the requirements and include standard characters, so you would lose your 50/50. If you don't remember, the rules are: limited characters must appear in three banners and not rerun in recent patches. The characters that come to mind are Yelan, Hu Tao, Ganyu, and Zhongli. As you remember, Venti didn't appear in the 4.5 Chronicled Wish, and the probable reason was that he was rerun in 4.1, just four patches earlier. So, theoretically, Zhongli might be in the 4.8 Chronicled Wish. I didn’t mention Xiao because he reran in 4.4, so from the developers' point of view, that might be recent. We will probably get three limited and three standard characters, just like in 4.5. Liyue has two standard characters, qiqi and Keqing, so those two will help you lose your 50/50. And probably Tighnari or Dehya will assist them with that.

Good day to y'all!! I actually restarted Genshin Impact a few days ago to gain a newer perspective and a different kind of experience and I'm so excited for 4.7 and 4.8 since they're going to feature characters who I can easily farm for like Furina and the so-called Liyue-based chronicled banner^^ TYSM for the continuous upload, update, and leaks raidenshotgun!
I wouldn't recommend wishing on the Chronicle wish if you can't guarantee to have 150 wishes. I will explain why.
Normally when wishing you start with a 50/50, that is a 50% chance of getting the featured character as the five star(takes 77 wishes on average). If you fail the 50/50 the next 5 star is guaranteed to be the featured one. This guarantee carries over on featured banners but **does not carry over** on the chronicle wish.
Also normally the character you lose your 50/50 on wishing is someone from standard banner which has lots of not very strong characters, with a few exceptions. If you lose 50/50 on chronicle wish you get another character from the chronicle wish pull. Which will be a strong pull this time.
Anyways my recommendation for the chronicle wish for a new player would be Yelan. Furina is a good option as well.
Chronicled wish for me is a less of a scam for weapons. I would recommend pulling on the weapons instead of the characters and make sure you have 160 fates to guarantee it, unless of course you are willing to gamble :)
@@ruy7164 if yelan was indeed at the chronicle banner then I will go for her, of course I will also farm a bit of primogems so that I wouldn't waste a bunch of times pulling for a 5* that I won't really get. Tho I really hope that I can get yelan since I lost my 50/50 to Mona a while ago (I think hydro females hate me😭 since I also lost my 50/50 to jean on furina's banner)
@@bling6996 A lot of people also said that the chronicled banner is a good way to pull for weapons who you haven't got yet or wanted to have. I'm still not sure whether or not I should go for a character or a weapon but I leave it for the future me to decide🤗 Tho I really need to farm primos so I can guarantee myself a 5*

not necessarily. in the last chronicle banner, there was only 2 5 star weapons that weren't from the standard banner. instead of yelan's bow, it could be hu tao and tartaglia's weapons or any other signature 5 star weapon from the other 5 star chars. yelan's bow is possible, but not garanty. even counting the weapon banner, it was chiori's sword and itto's claymore. thus the weapon banner wouldn't help you get yelan's bow, since it would focus the signature weapons corresponding to the character banners.
thus, you may need to wait even more for yelan's weapon. still, it could be worse. think of fischl's bow. how much time passed since it was last obtainable?

4.7 is the furthest from being a filler update we have 2 new 5 star, new 4 star and most importantly we have a danslief quest which means in the next patch there will be more lore than the entirety of any archon quest and i mean it

Right now my strategy is to get one strong DPS from every element and the Archon of every element (except for Venti since I have Kazuha and Sucrose), that way I can make some strong teams with them. I've gotten all of the Archons now and I'm on the case of grabbing the strong DPS' and trying to C2 most of the Archons (not grabbing constellations for Zhongli). So according to my plan up next for me is Alhaitham and maybe a C1 or so of Furina, though that may not be likely. Going to wait and see how the chips fall for Chlorinde since she looks to be strong for electro, but who knows. After that the Archons will start reruns so I need to save to grab their constellations.
I think I’m going to explode if I can’t get Ganyu in 4.8 💀
This is why I’ve saved up 200 pulls so I don’t explode 😔✊

Does anybdoy know if bbg tar-tar-sauce will be on Liyue's chronicled wish? I think he's had 3 banners (I joined recently so I'm not sure) and he's... kinda from Liyue? I WILL get aggressive if his next banner is on snezhnaya chronicled banner (which will happen after the game ends... I know this is a bit of an unrelated tangent but will we keep getting banners after the updates finish? I'm so confused about the whole concept!). If he isn't in Liyue chronicled wish, will he keep having yearly banners? aaah this is so confusing!

If you save up starting now you might be able to get her. We have around 50 wishes on Clorindes part of the patch + some more on Furinas half + first half of 4.8. That would be around 100 maybe more. You can get 50 more on quests and exploration if you haven't completed that.

in my opinion, furina because she can help heal and also be a dps or support. she’s great at applying hydro reactions so she can help vap bloom and other reactions
