Definitely the front door mat. I’ve wanted to spruce up my entryway with something different. I loved how your door turned out. It looks fantastic. I don’t know how you can work in 90 degree weather in FL! It’s so humid but so beautiful. 🥵🤗💜
You can sprinkle cat litter on an oil spill and let it sit overnight. It will absorb the oil then you can just sweep it off.
for fantastic landscaping info, check out Garden Answer. The beautiful things they do, and the amount of info they share is priceless!...I used to hate boxwoods, but now...not to mention annuals for HUGE color, and the decorative grasses.

I had oil spills on our driveway, my neighbor said to me she DAWN DISH DETERGENT. I did and WOW, just 1 coat & I rinsed away the oil stain & it came right out. 🙏🏼😎

I don't think you could do anything different, it's perfect just the way you did it.
It’s really humid here in Tennessee and when we had a new door installed I researched how to paint a steel door. You use oil undercoat paint. I just used the oil paint and it’s been ten years and no bubbles. Gardening in humid weather areas is frustrating. I love the white flowers. It looks great.
So inviting! One of the first things we did in our home when we bought it was redo the front. It looks so much better. We recently changed our garage lights also, but they didn't come with a photocell. My hubby being the handyman he is, added one. They are so tiny now it looks like part of the fixture! No more turning the lights on and off!
What a difference a door makes 🤗, and yep fresh flowers and mulch.

I love th clean up of your bedding plants. We experienced the polar vortex in February here in College Station, and all over town, we see the dead plants and shrubs. We moved into our home 2 years ago and had a double row of low shrubs, only one of which survived. So we (sweet husband) removed the dead ones and respected the boxwood. Such an improvement! Love the update of your curb appeal! Your neighbors need to get busy!

Another great job. Years ago I ordered a monogram of our initials A(big )B T. My husband painted them and when I went out to check them out he had painted the wrong size. He thought it was going to hang TBA, I told him it looked too much like T&A from the song in the movie "Chorus Line". LOL

Looks amazing! I think we have the same door handle/lock set (Schlage Camelot). Just a hint, when you transfer your plants to the ground or another pot, break up the root ball.. it helps them spread out and take better

This is a very timely video for me. I watched your previous video where you painted the door and added the house numbers to the transom, etc. and those ideas have been percolating in my brain for quite a while. We are replacing our steel front door which is rusting after 37 years, and I have been pondering ideas for house numbers, door mat, and other little flourishes. One take-away from this video is that paying attention to the little details (like replacing the doorbell) really make a difference in the overall finished look! I always learn something from your videos!

Everything looks sooo good! We recently added flower gardens to both sides of our house. (Big job!!) But we also bought star jasmine and gardenias and used black mulch! Love how it looks against the green and the color of the flowers.

Wow 😳 I remembered all the hard work you did the first time around with that front door, seriously shocked at the outcome over time, but the end result with your new door looks totally amazing 🤩. There’s also something to be said about the lights on each side of a garage door. I have installed them on my previous house and loved it. Having additional lighting at night makes the house appearance look more upper scaled. The entire curb appeal looks awesome 🤩🌱💖🥰
My original paint job on the front door did hold up pretty well... it was the paint job by the professionals that went south. Not sure! Thank you for your sweet words!

Did you see the Flip Flop episode where Tarek’s mom gives him a recipe to get an oil stain off the driveway? U Wet with water, sprinkle baking soda on top - then a can of Coke. Wire brush and rinse. It took the stain off -Izzy and Tarek were amazed. Kudos to u for the updated beautiful curb appeal! 🌷🙌🏻🌷💜🤩

A tip to use less soil is add cleaned plastic containers at the bottom. Helps with drainage and use less soil, which makes it less heavy. You have great ideas Natalie.

Hi from Dallas, NataLee. We’re getting a new front door this year as well. We’re still finishing up the back, adding some crape myrtles along the back fence. I tore the grill in our outdoor kitchen apart , it’s 9nly two years old now and I want to keep looking new. What a job! Looks like you hand your hands full too! It looks so alive and fresh now.
