    Number one of my top three ghost story films along with "Portrait Of Jennie" and "The Innocents".

    I watched it again last night, definitely a few chills there. Just a brilliant movie. I loved his romantic plotline, running behind the scenes like that. I want to read the book sometime.

    The movie’s a classic; my father saw it when it was released in England during the war, and that B24 pilot said it scared him more than the Germans did. Slight exaggeration…
