Fans of the Halo series, are used to its many different art styles: whether it's the simple yet clear style of the original trilogy, the gritty and war-torn aesthetic of Halo Reach, or the detailed and complex look of the Reclaimer saga. But never have we ever seen such a different take on Halo's art style, than Halo: The Master Chief Collection's Season 8. These armor pieces, being not of this world, has opened up brand new possibilites for Spartan customization, but at a cost. While the production value of the pieces themselves are top notch, they contrast heavily with the already existing armor. So, what if these helmets were remade, to fit the classic art style of Halo 3? It's time to redesign Halo.

Care to explain why tf you aren't currently the lead for the halo armor art design?
@@Teddy-rv8iw because there is such a thing as making the design language too narrow and self restricting
Can't belive you sold out to a shitty mobile game
@@zobososhizion6478
But being too broad leads to a lack of identity. Fortnite use to have one, then added weird things, then turned into The Simpsons of video games were anyone and anything gets added for the sake of content instead of originality.

Thanks Taras! Yeah it wasnât easy, but it was worth a try.âïž
Are you blind? Have you seen the concept art for halo 3 armors? Even ones that weren't added? They look NOTHING like what wernissage did here, stylistically or otherwise.

I personally love the different aesthetic of season 8 from a lore perspective. They're from different universes so I personally don't think they should look like they were made by the UNSC. Despite that, your redesigns still look amazing as always
This must have been a very challenging project! I like the changes you made; I feel like the designs as they stand in game look like a fan-made mod and they don't jive well with the established artstyle
Thank you!
Yes fanmade is the word I was looking for... the idea and lore is dope but man the execution.... I keep thinking im looking at a completley diffetent game. I think its gonna get a lot worse but gotta be crazy and colorfull I guess for the tldr generation. Clarification this dudes redesigns are awesome the skull is cool and actually beleivable.
@@Wernissage I was _somewhat..._ pouty, lol đ , of not seeing your attempt on one of the Belos' Greek-Spartan helmets. I also feel you could've added a *_simplified_* dragon head-ornament (maybe as an attachment?) that still keeps the balance of the redesign đ€.

@@Lazyhoiyoh I'd rather not get lumped into that category. But, yeah. Most kids want wacky stuff.
You could try making an episode where you redesign vehicles or AI models from any of the Halo games. You could try reimagining designs from past games or making new designs that could fit in classic games.
Liking the new designs but I feel like itâs a sin to not address the literal Spartan SPARTAN-II helmet would really like to se you cover that
They practically did it halo 5 with the Achilles armor, which to be honest is what they should of done, instead of just making them medieval armors
@@JBzucc yeah but that isn't in the classic art style. I would LOVE to see the Achilles/Belos helmets designed like this.
@@gabethebabe3337 it's more Halo than what we got, classic art style or not it's still better, I think it'd be a bit hypocritical to be okay with this but then make out like anything from 4 or 5 is not, it's like I don't get why no one likes the armors cause they look goofy or how they look like they are made of plastic but will okay with armor effects that seem like they were designed by a 8 year old
These armors actually made me interested in the concept of 343 making a new fantasy IP which could be awesome considering their skills.
I would like to see them take on a new IP. They have a lot of creative skills. Itâs just that some of their work has a better home than Halo.
@@theaverageclownhole3369 their new take on halos artstyle was actually really cool for the most part, but it just didnât belong within halo. I would love to see their talent with design to go to a new IP
I would love to see that. Cause the criticism for any reclaimer halo game is always "It's fun, but doesn't feel like halo". Vague but fair.
But sadly, that might not happen. The team was made specifically to make halo games. So I doubt the higher ups would let them.
Then again, sonic team has made a few games that weren't sonic. So I hope I'm wrong
@quicknfearless what are you like 9 bro, there is clearly skill in the team, it just seems to be misdirected into a halo game and not something else
@@eggburger5978 I think it belongs in Halo. After all, it technically does; these are from different multiverses. And a game where we get to see these different multiverses would be awesome, honestly.
Your redesigns are the one thing I look forward to when it comes to art style clashes in Halo.
The debates about the subject go on ad nauseum, (to the point where I have stopped caring.) What you do, however, isn't as much about the debate as it is showcasing yet another alternate take. Coming from a small community of artists who often give their work to others to put their own spin on, I truly appreciate what you do here.
As always, your work is high quality and your presentation is clean and concise.
The black guard and the Thyra are in my opinion the best redesigns. Keeping the mood of the original helmets and their aesthetic whilst merging it nicely with the halo 3 art style more. Though I must admit, Iâm not a big fan of the others.
I feel that in your quest to make their fit the halo 3 art style you accidentally shaved off too much of their personality, or made them just kind of look odd. The foresaken dragon is definitely the most tolerable of the ones I dislike, but it lacks that air of personality the original one had, and itâs forehead feels empty without a centre piece to draw my attention; which the dragon provided. And without anything to replace it, it felt off.
And if I am to be totally honest, the sorrowful visage just looks weird. Feeling way too blocky. Now I must admit the base is my least favourite of the new helmets added. But this design just punches me in the gut. I feel some inspiration couldâve been taken from recon and ODST. For their more organic shapes. And like EOD the âeyesâ definitely shouldâve remained separate pieces.
And as for valdemar , I feel there shouldâve definitely have still been that separation between the âcheeksâ and the âfaceâ of the helmet. As without that separation, it just reads as having a massive chin, and the horns couldâve kept more to their original shape.
Overall, this is a good video, and I love your content. But every now and then you will swing and miss. And when you do itâs important for criticism to be issued.
Now I must admit I am a fan of these new helmets. And whilst I agree theyâre not âhalo.â. Theyâre also not supposed to be, seeing as their lore is that theyâre apart of alternative realities.
Overall however, good video, I love the content, I hope to see more from you soon. Have a good day :)
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
@@Wernissage Iâm glad I could help out a bit
@@Wernissage I think part of the problem is just how much they don't fit the artstyle. So there's really no way to properly adapt them without removing or drastically changing the more unique elements, like the horns on Valdemar especially.
I think your redesigns of Forsaken Dragon and Sorrowful Visage turned out really well though, and can appreciate the effort with the more exotic helmets.
@@Wernissage the main problem with Forsaken Dragon at least, maybe Visage too, was that it was already pretty linear and angular (besides the organic bits) while still being very fantasy looking. You just didn't give yourself a lot of wiggle room and ended up having to water it down quite a bit. All in all, none of them are bad though.
I'd love to see you redesign whole armor pieces other than helmets
I do love these armour sets. I forgive their lack of inspiration from classic Halo more than Halo 4, or 5. Since they're not meant to be designed in the Halo universe. They're alternate timelines and were designed by completely different human factions.
Indeed, I think the redesigns kinda missed the point of them.
Even though I don't like a majority of the changes you've made they look decent to the very least
Totally fine, thank you!
honestly, the redesigns are really nice and are well done! Though in my opinion the redesigns remove what make the helmets unique. Good job on the redesigns though!
The redesigns also miss the point of the designs, they're trying to force them into a UNSC design style when they're not UNSC designs in the first place.
The skeletor helmet now looks like g1 Megatron laughing and I love it
I think the dragon on the Foresaken Dragon redesign could still fit in by making it an imprint on the forehead gap.
Valdemar looks like he got hit with a frying pan.
You dont fail to surprise me each time man. The redesigns feel like halo definitely more fitting and all the same keeping that lore design fundamentally intact. Forsaken dragons redesign is my one of
My favorites đđ„đ if 343 was trying to fundamentally create new helmets fitting to the styles of each game they definitely need to look to you for help
Good effort. Blackguard especially looks nice. The rest is ehhhhâŠ
Youâre forsaken dragon redesign looks like G1 soundwave. Perfect for immitating transformers characters with my Spartan
Amazing video Wernissage! All the designs were good, some were a little weird looking but they still had the halo 3 art style put into them. My favorite is probably the first one you did, the holes in the mouth piece and the standout visor really made it feel Halo 3
The skull refusing looks like master chiefs helmet with a big attachment up to the eyeline. Very cool
I like the new armours in season 8 , I love story behind them.
"... A medieval fantasy look like no other " oh, but there is one very much like it. In their tongue, he is Dovahkiin, Dragonborn!
you had me with the first one but the rest just feel single tone with no depth id prefer the original over them
I love the Black Guard redesign. Thatâs my favorite from S8
I wanted tearful bishop but it appears to be missing from season 8 despite being in the season 8 test đ€
I feel like a lot of people forget that these armors arenât meant to fit in universe, these armors are meant to be like the fracture events that will be in halo infinite the samurai armor is a part of that.
Noooo you got rid of the dragon head and body lol. The "hair" is supposed to be the wings of the dragon. That aside though this is what the season 8 armors should have been.
Not really. These werent to be halo 3 fully. They were supposed to be alternate history halo
If he wanted to replace the dragon maybe he should have painted a decal that melds with the "wings" on the side. I think that could have looked good.
@@Aves_1 Listen man donât use lore to excuse the armour not fitting in the game theyâre made for. Youâre allowed to like it but the lore they added in doesnât mean anything lol. These are definitely more fitting for the game the armours were put into. The overdesigned original ones fit better in reach or 4
so now lore isnt an excuse for the art style?
I think it looks better without the dragon
I absolutely loved the Sorrowfull visage redesign, it had a real creepiness to it.
An interesting take on the blackguard could be to make the mouthpiece REALLY prominent sort of like a bike helmet and then make the top of the head rounder
This is a good video but to be honest, I didn't like the redesigns as much as the original designs that 343 created. Some of these helmets like the Blackguard, Valdemar, and Thyra helmets could work in the Halo 3 art style but the other ones that I think wouldn't work are the Forsaken Dragon and Sorrowful Visage helmets. They look a little too goofy to me. Other than that, you did a good job with these redesigns.
To me the sorrowful visage redesign just looks like a cartoon villian with a mustache ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
They still look less goofy than the original skull helmets, lmao.
Improvements all around.
Yeah, you can barely tell what the helmet are even supposed to be without context, aside from Blackguard and Thyra.
@@mucilaginouschiropteran2811 I've said this thrice by now, lol:
RE-'Sorrowful Visage's' "mustache" + nose + Growly Teeth... _looks like a _*_Rottweiler,_*_ to me._ đ€...
...
...The "Disgruntled Visage" Armor. đ
Okay, the Sorrowful helmet redesign with June's scarf from Reach would be the most aesthetic armour combo I can think of. Add in one of the backpack accessories from 3, the tack pad wrist attachment and medikit thigh attachment from Reach, and you have an amazing-looking headhunter/lone wolf/scout Spartan.
So I went into this a little worried that the helmets would end up being severely watered down versions of what they were, and that's why the first one really blew me away, it kept the soul, intention and style of the helmet alive, it was to the point I just couldn't deny that I could 100% see a spartan actually wearing this, not much I can say other than Blackguard feels perfect. you kept the helmet and shaved off a bit of the more extreme fantasy element edges
However for the next two my fear was kinda confirmed. They're not bad helmet designs, they probably would fit the style and heck if they were there back in 3 day one I might have loved them. But for these Valdemar and Dragon it feels like the fantasy edges you shaved off were a bit of the heart and soul of their design and aesthetic.
Valdemar's redesign in my opinion looks a bit more goofy. In the sense that it clearly show intention to incorporate the cultural aspect, and also making it a practical design, but it compromised too much instead of committing to one side, it feels more like the designer was making something artistic and then got a strongly worded email and toned it back but tried to keep as much as he could. So it's visual interest is just kinda lacking the deeper impact it would have if you had just embraced the cultural side. It's a redesign I don't think would even have a prototype it'd just be sketched or modeled and then they'd just scrap it all together
Dragon is much the same, but the problem is, by removing the dragon and down playing the hair on the sides, again in my opinion, it kinda just looks boring, essentially if you took the metal headpiece off Hayabusa you'd significantly tank the helmets cool factor and miss out on the culture aspect it was dipping into. It almost feels like it just lost a lot of it's interest, it's still not bad, honestly I'd say it's mostly good in it's design and fits H3 super well, if you'd kept the dragon head on it I'd say it would be the same spot at the Hayabusa helmet practical and not shying away from what it's pulling from.
Those two helmets and by extension the armor that goes with them, kinda tells a little story of hey we went as far as to name these super soldiers after ancient warriors and what they represented, why don't we indulge in that, I'd see these as armors you'd make and then stow them away as decorative pieces in a museum or R&D lab, they fully function, but aren't going to be mass produced because it was just them saying what if, Heck maybe you'd even show these off at parades or such as moral boosters to connect with people of those cultures, the thing that makes them unique is that they aren't trying to look completely practical, which is what I feel makes them something you'd see made.
Visage, I think you did a good job making it into not only a Halo 3 helmet, but just an actual helmet that would actually exist. Visage just doesn't fit at all, it is purely for a fun look, to just not be serious about it, so this is a good way to make it a feasible thing, and glad you kept the hood.
Thyra, all I can really say is, feels too blocky and I actually prefer it with more lines than just the one line, the one line is just kinda boring to me, and again misses out on the intended cultural pull in the design ideology, but the vents and bolder bottom visor thing I think make it feel more proper Halo and that's good.
Main point none of them look bad, but I feel a few of the make it more Halo touches rob them of what makes them cool.
Black gaurd and thyra where the only ones I thought would fit the style and the forsaken dragon feels too much like hyabusa.
@@Fellovidual I totally get what you mean by the Dragon one. Though I kinda like it for that
my thoughts exactly, wow
Well they're armors that belong in a Halo game, so it's fitting that Halo touches are naturally more important and fitting than the complex medieval touches
@@xx_amongus_xx6987 That is true, I can't argue that it's not important to fit the art style or methodology, logically it makes sense and I should like it more, but at the same time that won't make it look more appealing to me, because I do appreciate the style cause it feels like an offshoot of Hayabusa, just less subdued
i love the look of your UNSC style Halo 3 redesigns but one thing, most of the original designs are based on the lore of the new armours which makes sense as to why they look the way they do, still love how you made them look if they were in the standard Halo universe so congrats
The sorrowful visage looks like it has a mini mk v on top of the vents. So cool!
the sorrowful visage redesign really reminds me of the green goblin from the 2002 spider-man movie. the shape of the "cheekbones" and the grin really help sell that, as well as the visor reflections. it's quite a nice design, taking the most important shapes from the skull and transforming them into more blocky and brutalist shapes.
Thyra looks like it could be combat armor for guards who protected the barren hillside we saw in Halo 3 ending credits....kinda like an honor guard. Another great video my guy. đ
Not bad. I still think they don't belong in Halo, but if 343 can't restrain themselves, I'd hope they'd make the more bizarre armor more like this. But again, these armors just don't belong in Halo.
Then change your settings
@@theidioticspartanstrawitch1118 Totally missed the point.
What's the point
@@theidioticspartanstrawitch1118 some of the armors are good but 90% are not, we have to turn of all the new armors because of this. They need to make it so we can only see what we want.
@@theidioticspartanstrawitch1118 that there won't be a toggle in Infinite, and this sorta thing is only a taste of what'll be there.
I hope that 343 doesn't implement armors like the season 8 ones into Infinite. They should actually take the time to make them fit into Halo and make then grounded in some way, not make some wacky "alternative universe" Halo so 343 can justify there existance.
Agreed but then kids wont have their rainbow battle rifles that shoot luminecent bullets that also leave paintball splaches on the wall in the shape of smiley faces.
@@Lazyhoiyoh Yup, just straight ruins the aesthetic of Halo
@@SypherSam the helmets and armor were fine if you really think that it ruined the vision if halo 3 then turn off the helmets at the end of the day you have control on what you see so really can't complain
They need to add more options for the toggle. Make it easier to restrict things on one players end to match one aesthetic without removing every single new armor piece. THAT would be the compromise that keeps people from fighting.
@@northstar_6585 Did you even read the comment? I'm talking about these types of armors in Halo infinite. If there was an option in infinite to turn them off then that would be fine.
Man I love your designs so freaking much, but the skull helmet in the thumbnail looks like Eggman wearing a his own Dr. Doom mask.
For the forsaken dragon an emblem of the dragon would be cool
These are pretty awesome, only thing I think is that the breathing holes on the first one should stay small as that big holes weren't seen on actual historical helmets I believe
I like how your redesign of the last one looks like a spartan version of Accord helmet
The redesign of the sorrowful visage gives me major Raimi green goblin vibes and it also reminds me of his recent appearance in NWH
Let me just say that I am a fan of you- I love your evolution series and redesigning series. This is not to say I am disappointed- but more of this didn't really do anything that would make it "belong" in H3. There was a lot of safe designs elements ontop of the crazy helmets. They don't wow me like previous work and that's alright. I can go into detail, but this is youtube- I just wanted to say you do good work- but this ain't it.
Do you know how hard of a task this was though? Heâs taking the abjectly ridiculous abominations of armor that diametrically oppose Halo 3âs art style and at least trying to make them somewhat believable. He did a great job considering the difficulties.
Objectively ridiculous abominations? Theyâre really incredible designs objectively. I do completely agree they donât fit the H3 art style, and honestly... thatâs kind of the point of them. They represent what the Spartans would have looked like in different universes that have VASTLY different histories, cultures, and civilizational structures. They donât fit the Halo 3 art style because they arenât Halo 3, theyâre other alternate timelines entirely.
@@valkyrie283 I said abjectly - and if they want to create alternate reality Halo armor then theyâll have to make the game around it. Where it wouldnât look ridiculous & blatantly obnoxious.
@@Basilisk2077 Thatâs my bad, thanks for correcting me on that. I still stand by my point however XD
And honestly, Iâd love to see 343 make a completely different game where they donât have to worry about adhering to the already established lore, and can just do their own thing.
The last one is SO COOL

When it comes to these armor sets in particular, it makes sense for them to look different. They're from a different universe where a different art style took place, from a different culture. Forsaken Dragon is good, but the removal of the dragon makes it a bit off compared to the original helmet.

Forsaken dragon was actual hype it just looks so clean! Wish you did the Spartan one too I really like the helmet but Iâd totally love to see your take on it!
Forsaken dragon needs a dragon decal on the forehead on your redesign at least. Also, I disagree with your take that the season 8 armours need a redesign to fit Halo 3s aesthetic.
I'm kinda conflicted on the viking helmet (the horned one), mostly due to the bottom part, but the others are great! Especially the skull one.
I normally love your redesigns, but these helmets and armour pieces are fine the way are; there's a reason for the new look from season 8, I think you should have done some quick reading about the fractures. Halo Canon did a nice video on the new lore "Alternate Halo Universes - MCC Season 8 Armor Lore

I think you completely missed my intentions with this video. I have done my reading, but like I said in the intro, I made these redesigns to fit Halo 3âs art style, which they currently donât (which is a fact).
I understand if youâre fine with that, but thereâs nothing wrong with thinking a game should stick to one art style only. I just wanted to expirement with the designs.

343 relases new armour
Wernissage: "Its free real estate "
Your Thyra redesign's visor looks very reminiscent of the 1999 E3 of Halo (iirc that is). Great job either way
Holy poop! The forsaken dragon redesign is one of my favorite helmets period
Bro just apply for 343 at this point. You do such a great job lol
Hey Wernissage! Love this video, and I think you've got a very good eye for Halo's design aesthetics.
A little feedback on the helmets you've made. I like them, and I like what you're going for.
Blackguard - I like The way you cleaned up some of the lines and pushed the split between fantasy and sci-fi a bit more towards sci-fi. There's probably a case to be made for keeping the visor as two separate "eye holes" similar to the EOD helmet, but I think your approach fits the look better. If I had one improvement to suggest, it would be to remove the "ear" flanges on the sides. I know they're something of a staple for Halo Helmets, but in this case, I feel it detracts from the shape intent of the helmet as a cylinder designed to deflect blows from a melee weapon. Overall though, really solid design and I like it a lot.
Valdemar - There's no way around some of the inherent goofiness of the base design of this helmet, and I think you cleaned it up well. I especially like the way you squared up the skullcap to have it better match the EOD and Mark VI helmets. I feel that the breaking up of the cheek/chin guards on the original works a bit better because the redesign makes me think of Jay Leno with that massive chin. As a compromise, I think it would be a little cleaner if you drew the endpoint of the chin back, closer to the "face" of the helmet and squared it off (similar to the base design) while still keeping the chin connected to the cheekplates (different from the base design). While this next bit is not feedback on this design, I think it would be interesting if in the future, you explored different approaches for decorative pieces, like the horns. Like, what if they were holographic? That might push Halo 3's aesthetic a little bit, but I think it could work.
Forsaken Dragon - I really like this redesign (The mouth gaurd, the visor, the cheeks, the "hair" reduction), but I have one thing I couldn't get past: The dragon on the top of the helmet should still be present in some fashion, because it's meant to look like there's a dragon's wings wrapped around the wearer's head. My thought was it would be cool if the dragon head/body was a graphic or mildly-intrusive texture in the metal that still drew the eye in the same way that the original does. That aside, an excellent design.
Sorrowful Visage - The base design is just... too much. You could have brought back the "Pilot" Helmet from Reach and I would say "yeah, perfect response." I like that you took all the components to make evoke the idea of a skull, while not just straight up making it a skull. Its very creative.
Thyra - This is a good design that I don't have a lot of feedback on. I like it, and I think this is the best example of your mission statement for the video. If pressed, I would say that you could do a little more to preserve the flow between the cheek guards and the "wings" like in the original design. Other than that, I have no feedback.
Overall, great content. I like your redesign videos, and I'd love to see your ideas on stuff like making Original Trilogy-era or Reach-era Brute gear fit the Reclaimer saga.
I definitely want to see a part 2 with the rest of the helmets!
The redisign of the sorrowful visage reminds me of green goblin in spider man no way home
8:27 I feel like it's a good design, and removing the dragon on the forehead is a fair change, but i feel like there should have been something more to replace it. The entire area just feels kind of empty now.
Edit: 12:23 I feel like there should still be more visor lines to mimic the Norse Runic aesthetic but otherwise i love it!
I need to note, that the Valdemar was the first Norse one you did. I think the skull one was the best here though, by far.
The hood could work as a ghillie suit like June's camo around his chest.
Ok I'm taking this video as 'what if OUR UNSC made these helmets?' fyi this is before viewing.
Blackguard: ok this, look *perfect* it fits 3's art style but also look like the original.
Valdemar: I think it looks TO tall and blocky. but other then that good job.
F.D: the removal of the dragon head goes a long way in making it look more halo 3.
S.V: Combining the eyes and making the teeth a vent all ready looks good. but going the extra mile and adding a MK 6 style top piece is the icing on the cake. Also I would imagine the hood as some thing the user could optionally put on.
Thyra: nothing stands out to me here. you really just make it more... Bugie...
Man I love what you do. I won't lie Though I was let down you didn't do the plague doctor style mask. I'm a sucker for anything plague doctor. And you make killer concepts. Hope you will do one in the future
I actually *_love_* your Blackguard redesign. I wanna see it in-game
Valdemar turned into jet jaguar
Another great redesigns. Keep up the amazing work.
I definitely think a full on skull would work for Halo 3, I think the elimination of teeth and the two eyes kinda changes the point, but either way great designs!
Sorrowful visage reminds me of either the troll face or that weird face Mutahar gets memes on for
Your take on Sorrowful Visage looks like a âclassicâ spin on the Locus helmet, I love it.
You do such an amazing job, but with this new armor I actually prefer the original look rather then your remake, all other remakes youâve did are god tier tho!
Love that the Valdemar has some Jet Jaguar vibes
MORE SPARTAN ARMOR NEEDS FABRIC AND CLOTH I SWEAR LIKE THE FUR AROUND THE COLLAR ON SOME OF THE KNIGHT ARMOR IS SO COOL
IMO I think the small dragon would still have looked nice with the redesign. Also do a remake of the Greek armor!
I would have used the Warmaster helmet as inspiration for the Sorrowful Visage. I know itâs Halo 4, but it most resembles the skull feature, imo.
the "hair" is the dragons wings, imagine how skyrim dragons walk around, i think thats the idea. Cool redesigns though
I actually really like the sorrowful visage redesign, it reminds me of the locust helmet from h4 but with a visor
The sorrowful visage looks like it would be so much better without the mustache thing.
As always, absolutely wonderful!
Each and every time you create something, I am in awe!
Keep it up! â€
This is a late comment but for the Forsaken Dragon; that isn't "hair" those are wings. It's meant to look like Dragon wings hence the name. That is why the Dragon head piece is there. To invoke a Dragon. The redesign takes away from it looking like a Knights helmet and removes the Dragon.
Ngl the redesigned Sorrowful Visage looks like it has a mustache
aren't all these helmets from alternate Halo universes? so shouldn't they look different from what the UNCS usually make?
Forsaken dragon looks really good out of the three I have currently seen
Edit I feel like the ventilation could have extended to the nose instead of having that bar run through the center of the helmet like it is, maybe having it run parallel with the vent until it hits the bottom. Feel like it would look more appealing that way.
Edit 2: thyraâs redesign looks beautiful, maybe have the wings hug closer to the sides of the helmet but other than that, really great work
Honestly, I'd love to see some Fractured weapons and maps instead of just Armor pieces. Yes, the art styles will clash, but I think it would be really cool, personally.
Fractured maps would be really cool! Imagine storming a castle in Halo!
@@interstellergrapefruit It really would! Imagine the stuff they could add to Forge with that, too.
@@BoisegangGaming. All sorts of futuristic looking stone walls, battlements, drawbridges, siege vehicles, etc. Be a cool idea for a spinoff, too.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 I would love a spin-off, if nothing else.
@@BoisegangGaming. That would be so fucking cool. I mean, it's kind of a real possibility if you think about it: 343 was set up by Microsoft to work pretty much only on HALO, though everything about the franchise is up to 343 themselves. If they wanted to, they could easily create a HALO spinoff based off one of these Fractures.
It would be cool to see you redesign other armor sets too
Overall I liked the redesigns, but have 1 suggested edit for the dragon helm, darken the groove at the top where the dragon used to be.
I really like that skull thingy helmet, but I think it couldâve been rounder like hayabusa and the mark vi
Idk I usually really like your designs but this time I found my self not really liking any of the redesigns this time around. Still a good video I just prefer the 343 designs even if I don't necessarily like them to begin with.
Totally fine! I know these helmets are loved by many, so I didn't expect everyone would love my redesigns. But thanks!
I'd definitely love to see your take on the plague mask helmet. I actually love the hooded helmet aesthetic because I love fabric over armor, like Jun and Poncho Chief.
That first redesign is amazing
I really enjoyed your redesigns here but was a little disappointed that you didnât do any of the Belos helmets
Blackguard and the thor helmet redesigns look the best
Would love to see more of your work. I really liked what you did with the hayabusa inspired one.
