Can I come move to Louisiana and come work for one of y’all for a few months? Lol I’m serious, this seems like something I’m interested in and I’m always down to learn something new. The way I look at it is, the more you learn the more you can accomplish. Like I never thought I would be working at a flooring company but here I am 6 months later and I’m a helper for tear-out and engineered wood install helper and I’ve learned so much that I could honestly run a place by myself if I had the right equipment. If I was alone and had to do a house it would take me a lot longer than if I had 2 or 3 others working with me.

Y’all have been working on striping for 27 years, so I have question, do you use up more paint using the striped or by hand with the rollers?

by hand will use up more paint, but a blown tip will use excess paint as well. the sprayer does need enenough paint to stay primed up, like filter houseing and hose. But a striper is 100 times more efficent.

As a safety issue, I'm also surprised to not see any nonslip added to the kerb edge/ ramp/ disabled symbol. Freshly painted surfaces can be slippery when wet and it's a very easy problem to avoid.

Yellow handicap logo is not ADA compliant unless you’ve found a law change no one else has. Upselling on an extra coat is a gimmick. If you are doing your work right, right pressures and all a stripe job should last at least a year. If you are striping a place like dollar general store you’ve done a great job pulling the wool over your customers eyes. It won’t take long and you’ll help give strippers the same lousy rep seal coasters have gotten.

@@NoName-be5ir Yeah, I also noticed that. Doesnt fade enough in only a month and they are busy but not so busy the ADA stuff will get complaints in 6 months. Not even a year. I would recommend once a year at most. Instead focus on networking with them for other work based on your quality.
