Proud of Florida. We proved to the world that we won’t get blown out by the #1 team and defense played well second half. Emory looked for calm as well. This is good momentum for us in the rest of the season.

Every bad play Bama made hurt them. Like Slade Bolden dropping a wide open pass in the end zone, or Bryce Young throwing a pass slightly behind Metchie which would probably have been a TD. If not for plays like that, the game wouldn't have been close.

The brief crowd reaction shot of the Tide fans’ realization that it wasn’t going to be the walkover that it was shaping up to be in the 1st quarter was a classic. I’m not a big sports fan, but I was at the 1977 Rose Bowl when Michigan State was heavily favored over USC and got shut down hard, losing 14 - 6 (IIRC). The silence from the MI State section was deafening.

Saban learned from playing Clemson that a not-so-obvious pick play won't get called in the modern era. That second touchdown should have been called back, and the Tide would've scored anyways. But still, run those pick routes, and you'll trip up defenders all day.

This turned out to be a helluva game. It's was mostly a grind out finish, but it was great to see UF's coaches and players figure out Bama's schemes on both sides of the ball and flip the game around. It was equally cool to watch these QBs settle down and make plays. Bama looked good on stopping UF on the 2-pt conversion and their last score.

Malik Davis looked really good in this one. They should use him more often. 9.6 yards per attempt against Alabama's defense is INSANE. Seems like he's never really had a shot but I love how he breaks so many tackles and simply refuses to go down. He doesn't exactly have blazing speed, but he's certainly not a slow back either.

The 2 pt attempt felt awkward. I think Play action or instead of having both the Qb and Rb have the ball in each other’s hand, I feel like a different way could’ve been better. Before anyone says that was the play call having both players hold the ball could’ve been a great way to bait the defense, I know that I’m just saying.

It was an option but for some reason he held the ball, he was trying to suck them in but he should’ve pull it and ran since the defense crashed inside
He probably would have been in trouble had the qb kept the ball. Now if you gave it to the running back immediately I think he had a better hole and would have a better head esteem

Good game, Florida always plays hard and we always know that it's gonna be a game when we play them. I have a great deal of respect for Florida because it's pretty much an equal field, it's like playing ourselves...lol...we definitely have some issues that we need to address, our defense definitely lost momentum and Florida gashed us multiple times. I think our offense played pretty well all things considered but penalties hurt us. Again, congrats to Florida for a well fought game, in my opinion, it's always a championship game cause they always bring their A game. Roll Tide. 👍👍👍

This game was one Anthony Richardson away from being an all time great upset. That's no slander on Emory Jones, kids a baller, but Richardson is that next level talent and it hurt not having him this week.

@@AnthonyWilliams-cq1br oh yeah. any defense will have a tough time dealing with a QB with Jones's running ability, and Bama historically has had defenses that fold when the QB can move and create off schedule. Jones's and the rest of the run game kept Bama honest which allowed Florida to stay in the game.

They literally exposed our run defense game.. That was embarrassing and the coaches/players will get the consequences for playing the way they did
We held them to less points this year than last, so that’s a plus
