Interesting point quantum mechanics has nothing to do with determinism.
I enjoyed watching this episode. Thank you !

Thanks for sharing. It is again obvious as stated by Lawrence, psychology is not easy. This seems to point at science as being easy, which it is not. Unfortunately, science likes to believe the stories it tells with a self-deception beyond belief hehehe. To point at religion for doing what science itself does is shameful. Modesty is very much like honesty, "such a lonely word" (that could be a song..lol) If science was to open to what its own research is revealing, we may make it through the exponential risks we face as a modern, so-called civilization. Stay safe all and cheers from a retired soldier down under.

Guys like Lawrence Krauss seem to behave with a Donald Trump like hubris. It's amazing how he finds the Universe so fascinating and can't seem to match the experiential nature of that with those who contemplate inwardly and converge on the same Totalogy but conceptualized and experienced with d8fferent Paradigms and Ontology.

I don't disagree that you don't need supernatural phenomena to make a universe but hundreds of years ago the universe was unexplainable and seemed supernatural. I just get the sense that a lot of this atheism strawmans the fundamentalist.

Did you all know that your bank transaction have 128 bit encryption? That's 2^128 to 1 chance of guessing. Yet you say that evolution can create a ribosome with 4^5000 (5000 nucleotides), which is like 2^10,000 (10,000 bit encryption). It doesn't sound like atheists can do math. If you could, you would find this very anomalous.

I used to find Krauss so annoying Mr. rock and roll athirst professor.. but I've been impressed with him for the last few years .. here's my argument for free will .. imagine all the animal's that do not have a highly developed Frontal cortex or one at att all for that matter. hw are their behaviors different? in many way's the don't seem much different . so imagine a universe that is a strict deterministic universe.. that biology is possible in a life on some earth like planet. I say life could similarly bur for slight difference. The frontal cortex would never in that universe. why? because choices don't actually exist. You can't argue that decision's are being made by thousand of different grain machismos as you do and say consciences is necessary . so in that universe you actually have the Zombie human.. walkls talks acts just like us .. but is never aware of the reasoning behind or that just made choice .cuz they didn't.. Our universe i would posit is strictly deterministic on larger scales but has weak randomness ie very small scales . and in scale of biology is only semi deterministic .. and i i prove it. If there was no possible alternative choice to benefit from which is case in strictly deterministic universe where frontal lopbss don't exists .. evolution would have nop use for such expensive piece of hardware with out having substantial survival benefits. The frontal lob is the decision maker .. which means the future is not set in stone at our level .. the has to benefit to choosing the choosing implies we live in a non determistic world period. .. if free will was just an illusion there no use use or actual benefit to having a frontal lob . So the theory of evolution + the exitance of a frontal lob proves that free will exists
