The drill died so we weren't able to place the charge in to the proper place, but it gave a really cool effect. The tree was completely dead, as you can see by a large section falling from the top.
@porkchopspapi5757 It broke off a top branch from the shock. There wasn't anything necessary to show because there wasn't anything significant to show.
It also doesn't help that we have a tendency to be lighting things that tend to give off combustion byproducts that can really gum up the insides of lighters. That looks like a butane lighter in the cold, which is already a recipe for problems. A lot of times you got to warm them up inside your coat before the work right. Honestly in my opinion for a butane lighter in the cold, That's reasonable performance. It probably also doesn't help that we use lighters so much that that wouldn't even register as something worth editing. Now if I had to spend the next like 2 minutes playing with it well that's getting edited out.

Clay plugs are better, for best results he probably should have put the powder directly in the tree, then stuffed it with clay, paper wadss and hot glue

@@dhamonsta It says 30 grams because it is 30 grams. If it was a smaller unit of measurement used in loading ammunition, it would be far too much for a cartridge. Basshead Curry what I’m saying is I measured out 30 grams of flash and it fits into a standard ak47 casing... so this in the video can’t be 30 grams because the tube in the video is about 2-3x the size of a ak47 bullet... lol... the video states this is 30 grams.. and my scale says 30 GRAMS... Not grains m8... so I’m trying to figure out how is this 30 grams.. unless someone’s scale is messed up. 😂😂

Haha! That was cool! Didn’t expect the smoke ring
PyRoOWL 1995 Me either! It was likely due to the fact the drill died and the charge would not fit all the way in to the hole.
Worth it just for the smoke ring
POV: the scp foundation trying to get the tree to scream:
vortex ring was cherry on top
EPIC smoke ring!
Who all just knew he wasn't going to show the results...

Other than the video itself.
Pack it with clay or add a 1 gallon bag of water for a shape charge :)
If you pack it with clay or put it under a bag of water, you're not shaping the charge. You're tamping it.
now you're talking dont forget wet sand bags are also a consideration... works for demolition work
Its always the pyro youtubers that never seem to have a working lighter
For sure on a hot day in summer that's didn't happen.... When you are at ice temperature can happen xD
Lol. Sometimes we don't edit out the lighter not working on each strike. That's what your favorite youtubers to. So it doesn't upset you. Like this. 😅
Thats why i dont post mine they are 30 minutes of me getting the lighter to cooperate with the wind

You know your in for a treat when the cameraman runs about 50 yards away
Nice video
That tree was like Damn I thought that was a Swisher Sweet you shoved in my mouth.

I like half to 3/4
does there need to be air in??

don't harm the trees

how the hell do you get your hands on flash powder??
you mix
Tape a bag filled with sand to the outside where the hole is and that'll definitely do the trick

Why not show the tree :/

I dont think the tree weights 30 gramms
Nor does your joke.
It weighs 30 grandmas
