- Why Did They BUFF This Tower? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - today we tackle the recently added Castle Revenge map on CHIMPS, with a black border bouncing bullet bonanza! This upgrade got a small price buff and we're wondering if it was really needed.

Sniper is the single most self-synergistic tower, which makes it (and the rest of the military towers) the next best candidate for paragons. Maybe have it oneshot BADs but it dies to spaced pinks :p
imo spactory has more self synergy because of how its pierce essentially works like another attack speed multiplier
@@fishstick8832 "self-synergy" i meant in the tower paths. Elite defender has single target damage and struggles with ceramics, Criple moab has stun and adds flat damage - great fo fast attackers, and Elite sniper cleans up ceramics and buffs the other two.
But yes, spactory is the single best tower for pierce buffs.

Carpet gives it great effective range and Amazing damage
Mines gives it even more damage and an AOE
And perma spike gives it a great Pierce path
There's a reason 5-5-5 spactory is the best 5-5-5
I think it would be cool to maybe have two nodes auf attacking: one like the elite Defender, and a second one that oneshots BADs but attacks pretty slow. The fast one or maybe both could also have bouncing bullet.

052 sniper is by far my favorite monkey, dude blasts and makes huge money. I will say that saving for level 4 early can be painful and now even moreso lol

I thought this wasn't me at first, but then realised that I rely on Spirit of the Forest the 3rd most.
I don't even do anything above hard.
Try 2-5-0 canon tower, 5-2-0 glue monkey and 5-2-0 village, you could add a boomerang monkey if needed.
Don't forget Sauda to start with.
If you ever want a tower that really helps get some bloons together for bouncing bullet, and TBH is just good utility in general, downdraft.
Also upgrading at least one of those darts to see camo prob would have helped a bunch, as they'd drop down some of the incoming camos, causing them to slow down, and better clump for the bullets. There could even be a good case for using a Geraldo cape to turn the center dart into an Isa-monkey.

I’m in love with the sniper monkey (it’s my highest xp tower with 26m) and every time it gets a buff I’m scared it’ll get a nerf which will make it useless

I still hate Geraldo. Interesting hero, but I hate how he's ALWAYS to go-to for any run to be easier. There's no changing for runs like this, where you'd otherwise want to choose a hero that synergizes with a single tower, it's always just choose Geraldo because he makes EVERY tower better just by being placed.
I think the same, the fact that ISAB uses him in (almost) every game and does not care if he overspend a few items says a lot
I agree, but I also think Corvus is a bit like that. Corvus and Geraldo are supposed to be "Jack of all trades, master of none" but they end up being "Jack of all trades, master of almost anything"
I wouldn't put corvus in the same boat as geraldo for multi-lane maps because the spirit suffers from pursuit heli syndrome. personally for this map I used double sun avatar and am *pretty* sure adora's better for that than geraldo...
Out of all the Geraldo items I think I dislike Paragon Totem the most. This means that if you want to use a paragon tower in your run - you MUST use Geraldo. There's no choice to be made, Geraldo is the only hero that allows you to create a level 100 paragon. Paragon Totems should be something you can build no matter the hero.
But yeah, even if we take Paragon Totems from him it wouldn't really change the fact that 99% of all BTD6 games uploaded after the release of Geraldo, are using Geraldo making it a lot more boring than it should be

Also supply drop is a decent 4th tier tower better than full auto rifle it increases shrapnel popping power can pop leads and bouncing bullet now bounces 3 times instead of 2

They were being polite and making you more efficient so that Sniper monkeys can kill more of everybody they meet.
I asked this question myself when I saw it. Also I actually used top path boomerang for this map instead of bouncing bullet or jungle druid.

You should do a god boosted elite defender run, I'm very curious how far it gets. The high base damage and high base speed must make for a fairly potent god boost, surely. Not even close to the more expensive 5th tiers, but itd still be interesting

I'd like to see if it would be better to put the shrapnel shot as far back to the exit as possible, while keeping it in the middle to get through the early game easily on this map.
also idk how good that is cause i only saw kinda noticed it during an actual run but i think 230 sniper is stronger then 032 cause atleast those were getting higher pop counts
You can actually get to Geraldo on Castle's revenge with this tower placement order:
Round 6: Dart top throwing down the straightaway and a Sniper
Round 7: Dart bottom throwing up the straightaway
When you can afford it: Second Sniper
Round 12: Geraldo
You don't actually have to use 3 dart monkeys
Then, for round 15, you set both dart monkeys to strong, and you can skip getting the turret as well
I find it easier to use two alc buffs since it doesn't run out as quickly.

I just had a video idea that you could probably do if you want to: Beat chimps with Dark Champion and Energizer on a multi lane map so you always have to teleport around. I'm talking about a map like bloody puddles, where there is no intersection between the lanes sometimes. You could add some glue or ice to stall for the cooldown maybe or just do sth i guess.
85% sure that is impossible, perhaps on a different map, though. I like the idea.

@@seaboi777 isab can probably make that 15% happen, otherwise another map would also be fine, but I feel like bloody puddles is the only map where there are bloons coming on opposite sides of the map on the same round. There still is dark dungeons but I doubt that it would be easier.

Things like bloon trap and obyn wall of trees just return the amount of money you usually get from popping the bloons. You dont gain any extra income from them.

I don't think removing the damage buff on the better sharpening stone was necessary it should just cost double the price for the benefit it gave. I know gerry was a little to good as a supporting hero but that's his niche it went unchanged for like a little over a year I believe just nerfing him in general.
It's typically very rare for a tower to benefit an insane amount from it. The only towers I can think of where the +1 damage is worth building the tower for is the 0-3-2 Super Monkey and the Grandmaster Ninja. I wish they'd revert it but geraldo is busted as fuck already

Isab can only use monkeys which are the masters of their craft eg
Apex plasma master, top and bottom path ninjas, bloon master alchemist etc. Paragons such as master builder are allowed as well
Extra challenge is that this should be done with the mastery mode mod.
If too difficult minimal farm8ng is allowed.
