I know a lot of people are critical of Mozart's oboe concerto, being originally a flute concerto, but to me, it one of the greatest works of genius in western art. Everything about it is perfect.
I thought the oboe concerto was original, then he transcribed the part to flute because he was commissioned by the Wendling family for two flute concertos in addition to the flute quartets and the concerto for flute and harp.
The oboe is beautiful classical
musicinstument with a incredable sound, almost heavens , it give us a reason to enjoy our earthly live.
