  • All our models in 1/35 scale are enriched with towing cables. So for today's HOW TO PAINT episode I prepared short tutorial (step by step) to show you some of my tricks I use to make the towing ropes interesting and realistic. The best result we can achieve using metal cables.

Great tutorial. Your realistic placement and finishing has always been a great touch on your models. It was also great to see the Jadgepanther again.

Dear Friend! It's always great to watch you do what you do best and that is, military model making. I think you picked a good subject to talk about, towing cables, and it's very intuitive. Thank you so much for sharing and I'm looking forward to your next episode. Kudos to you 😀.

In my experience with tow cables on US Army vehicles, those things are very stiff. Not flexible like hemp or nylon rope. The cables are frustratingly difficult to force to lay flat, and kinks are common. Just like you illustrate on that last (Russian) pair. Modelers should keep that in mind when placing them on their tanks.

Thank youcvery much for you comment! Pure knowledge and experience to use on our models. I know that some models need to stretch a reality a bit but we need to keep in mind what you just wrote. Thx! :)
