Fortin EVO-ALL vs EVO-ONE What's the Difference?

Hey, I spoke to you guys on the phone yesterday. I wanted to let you know what I found out from Fortin. They released a new firmware today, 0.37 to address the issue of starting the Diesel Ram too quickly. The chrt6 will go 20 seconds before it starts so the evo one is not need. Thank you for talking with me yesterday, you are super helpful and your customer service is second to none.

you actually can use a rfa wire to use key fob, rf remote, and smartphone. Did it using Evo All on Infiniti Q50

Thanks! Great explanation. It's about time someone explicitly explained what the heck the differences are! The Fortin website is rather unclear about the purpose and function of all the devices.
So question: Does this mean the Evo-All can only be used with pushbutton-to-start vehicles, since it doesn't have the power relay to drive the conventional key ignition current?

Thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it! Yes, essentially this means the EVO-ALL is designed to work as a remote starter on vehicles that are low current only, pretty much push button start vehicles only (there are some key start applications like Fords and Mazdas, but not many).

I have used both fortin styles.
I installed evo all in a 2013dodge avenger using a t harness.
I installed evo one with bypass harness and hi current ignition wires in 05 dodge dakota. I love the evo one still after almost 3yrs

Both the the EVO-ALL and EVO-ONE will work on the 2018, but we suggest the EVO-ONE as the best option.

I’m sorry to be the guy that messages asking questions about an install.
I have the evo all, for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee.
I was able to get it installed, I was able to program it. Everything went right the way it was supposed to. Took it back inside and hooked it back up to do the dcryptor. Which was successful all the same. Plugged it all back up, and when I unlock it lock the doors, the blue light will flash, so it’s working for sure.
However I can’t get it to fire up when I push the lock button 3x.
My question is, on the big white plug, it has a16 purp/yell wire Thats ignition out
And a1 yellow wire that’s ignition.
It says to connect them together, and then it runs to a spot that says rs6 in/out ignition.
Does that go to the ignition in the car? On the starter button?

2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (USA), Push-to-Start, automatic transmission... when searching for a remote starter for my vehicle, the Fortin website suggests Evo All and Evo One but with the Evo All it says N/A under Remote Start and 3x Start. Do i need the Evo One? I believe I've seen video of someone using Evo All for a similar vehicle. On the Fortin website, when I select the Evo All, under Troubleshooting there's also a link that downloads instructions for the Outlander Sport and shows it being used with the Evo One. Suggestions appreciated.

You would need the EVO-ONE on this vehicle, EVO-ALL would work only as a bypass module, not as the actual remote starter.

I have a manual Cadillac ATS with push start, I can find any guide for the evo one . All of them say for automatic transmissions only. I check out evo one with the GM6 T harness but same results, do you have any suggestions for me.

I paid $200 for a new module for that car and when year later they shut down the 3G system. So I need some kind of conversion make a remote so I can turn the AC on at least just the AC or heater This has a electric air conditioner Compressor.

So I just purchased the MPC remote starter from Amazon for my 2019 Tacoma. It's a push start. I successfully installed it with no hiccups. 3x lock and it starts up. I am interested in the app where I can control the vehicle if it gets stolen and I don't have to pay a monthly fee from the dealerships.

Hi, I do have installed on my car (Audi A6 C7) an Evo-One, and I was using it to remote start my car from my fobkey, but I manage the other days to buy a Pandora DX-4G and I wanted to conected to Evo-One so I can remote start the car from Pandora app, can you help me finding the way to make them ''talk'' each other. Since I install Pandora (+,-,CAN1,CAN2) Evo-One is not working like it work, so I think there is a misunderstanding between those 2. :)

If you are in Ontario or Quebec (Canada), you can use the MyStart + (MS-2), if you are in the USA or anywhere else in Canada, then you must use the MyCar VS-4LU

Man, I'm so frustrated! I emailed fortin and the company I bought the evoall chrt6, warmcarnow, who both said this would work on a diesel ram. Well, it does not let the grid heater cycle fully, even downgrading the firmware to 0.36. Warmcarnow will not get back to me and fortin basically told me to pound sand! Do not buy if you have a diesel ram and especially do not buy from warmcarnow! I wish I would have seen this before I bought.

Question. For reasons, of my own business. Let's say the evo-all had the power disconnected for a around 9 months, what would happen ? When it gets wired back up, does it need to be reprogrammed ?

It should not require reprogramming, once it is powered back up it should function as it did before the power was disconnected.

Hey Jeff, Excellent video!!! Very impressive. Maybe you can help me. I have a 2020 mazda cx3 push button start. I wanted to install remote start but was told can only use the lock lock lock feature to start the vehicle. problem is with ,mazda after the first lock click the next 2 honk the horn loudly. What system if available can it be flashed to use unlock lock unlock instead to elimate the horn beep? Many thanks
