Ha Ha, krishna sir seems worried about he not coming from musician family background. May be this was blessing in disguise.....that's what makes him more experimentative,a kind of fresh air to the listeners.

CARNATIC MUSIC OR FOR THAT MATTER ANY OTHER MUSIC DOES NOT TEACH US THAT IT IS ALONE OUR CULTURE. AND ITS FOLLOWERS ARE THE TORCH BEARERS OF CULTURE. IF ANYBODY THINKS LIKE THAT IT IS THEIR OWN IGNORANCE. OUR NATTUPURA PADALGAL, THEMMANGU, THERUKKOOTHU, YAKSHAGANA, KOOCHPUDI, PAWAI, MANIPURI, ETC. ETC. ALL REPRESENTS CULTURE. IF WE HAVE INCLINATION WE CAN IMBIBE THEM ALL BUT SHOULD NOT MIX THEM WITH ONE ANOTHER. THAT IS WHAT PADDUKKA (DR PADMA SUBRAMANIAM) SAYS QUOTING BHARATHA'S NATYA SHASTRA, THAT AS FAR AS ART IS CONCERNED BHARATHA KANDAM HAS ONE CENTRAL MARGIYA TRADITION AND ALL REGIONS HAVE DEVELOPED THEIR OWN DESIYA TRADITION TAKING ONE OR MORE ASPECTS OF THIS MARGIYA TRADITION.

I agree all musical concerts are good but all types of music one cannot understand or can be enjoyed by one and all but I cannot tolerate the fusion music. Original is always good hybrid is not good for health although khichadi tastes good but you cannot eat it always.
