"Don't stand under your load like this. I'm only doing it to teach you not to" Thanks papa Jonathon for the lesson LOL (this is really funny as I'm probably not much younger than you) Nana cat is such a lover. She's awesome
“Clean the bed out so we don’t have as big a fire” Witt and wisdom from a common sense working man! Great work and thanks for sharing the steam works with us.
This is a great start to Sunday morning...a quick problem, diagnosis, and treatment of a brake issue. Bonus: wrecker bed installation. Jonathan W doesn't let the grass grow under his feet👍 Let me be the first to send a "Happy Thanksgiving" to you and yours.
You make this heavy work look so easy, even though I know it's not! I'm 67 years old and when I watch your videos, it makes me wish I had listened more closely to my Dad and Grandfather. Thanks for sharing!
I just finished up a project on my truck . I come in , & watch Jonathan complete one of his , enough to get another project set in place . I'm not done either , lol . I have to go back out in an hour & fill my cooling system . But it's nice to know some people work just as hard as I do . In Jonathan's case , way harder . Nana looked quite content with all of the progress . Cat-scan complete . I wish you & yours a fantastic Thanksgiving , Jonathan ! To all of my fellow subscribers , I extend the same sentiment , whether you celebrate it , or not . God bless ya !
Love the way your efforts seem to flow together. We just dont get the picture- the hard work, injuries, frustrations- but damn we appreciate your skills and efforts! You inspire greatly!
Mornin Jonathan and NaNa!!! Thanks for the Safety lesson!!!!! Meow to NaNa!!! Cat Scan complete..... Thank You Jonathan for the Update!!! Good Job as always!!!
Hi, Jonathan, great job on the wrecker build and it looks like you're making good progress on the new steam engine. I thought or a minute there that Nana was going to try to ride that motorcycle that you built from the ground up (including the engine), she got to show off more today. God Bless and stay safe, and Meow to Ninja Catscan.💯👍🔥
Man that used old brick really ads an authentic historical touch to that engine base. Nice work. Could you possibly tell us about the vintage motorcycle parked by the Whippet unless you have in another video. Thanks.
Nice Job Jonathan 👍 . The Wrecker Looks Good And Works . Just Needs Smaller Stuff Done Now. Sometimes It's Definitely Hard to Figure Out Why Some People Do Some Things 🤔 !
Johnathan that engine is going to be a head turner that’s for sure! You’re doing a fantastic job with it ! 🤙🤙 That’s a great looking tow truck,it has a heavy look to it like it can do a lot ! Again lots of work that we don’t see! Thank you for all your hard work making these videos Jonathan you bring a lot of joy to many people with them 🤙🤙🤙
Jonathan God Bless You, I went crazy when I saw an extended bit of Nana, I love her so much and I have a similar Cat called Bugaboo, It hurts that after 3 1/2 years in High Point, NC and wanting to see you I am now moving back to Harrisburg, Pa. I pray that maybe from now till December 1st I'll get to see you and Nana.
Morning I see you got that little wrecker running can't wait to get up there from Florida and see you to see when that's running well you have a nice day my friend see you soon
👍👌👏 Extremely impressive, Sir! All of it! Nana Catscan 💚 obviously thinks the same! Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved life forms (humans and cat).
Hi Johnboy the wrecker looking good and can't wait until the other steam engine is finished so we all can it it run and thanks for sharing the video's Johnboy.
wrecker men have always impressed me as being the ultimate problem solvers, my dad used to talk about Charles Dowd down the road from you, bet you knew him!
Conservator, you are amazing in all that you do and accomplish with you breathing issues. Looks like Nana approves of the wrecker and what you have set.
When it all goes south in our government, at least you can still have a semblance of life on lifes terms. With you leading a few, our last names may have reason to go on
One thing I love about the way this, and other of JWs vids is edited, is that once the problem is identified, snap your fingers, and at 5:00, the job is done😂
Like it. You are building a large museum!. Can you explain the function of a curved spoke vs a straight spoke flywheel.?? Seems like a lot of work in manufacturing just for the looks. I appreciate what you are doing. ❤
Shrinkage of the outer band was an issue with spokes breaking when they were cast straight. Curved spokes would handle the shrinking and expanding of the outer wheel without breaking. When metallurgy and casting process became better, everyone went to straight spokes because it was much less pattern work. Curved spokes = early engine.
Excellent video Johnathan W :) also glad got the Wrecker bed on plus easy fix on 2 hydraulic cylinders and cable plus truck axle problems on wheels too also electric fix up soon to ! Also wheel on steam engine fix up temporarily and see saying it need light adjustment too do ! Hi NANA pet cat Supervisor 🐈 🐱! Happy Thanksgiving Holiday USA 🇺🇸 come up Johnathan W & famillies and friends too !
Fantastic!! Are you going to extend the roof to cover this engine? As it looks on video, the rain water would come off the roof right on the engine. Perhaps it's just an optical allusion from the camera angle? Anyway, great work!!
THANK YOU fer postin lad. Replacin BOTH sides of the brakes at the same time only makes sense when they're such a pain in the arse to do EH !! WAVIN a hand EH !!
That record's going to be really nice when you get it finished. Good looking truck got lucky it was just a brakes. Can't wait to see that steam engine run. Keep up the good work!
Good Morning, glad you were able to get the wrecker working nicely. That engine looks good on that foundation. It looks professionally done. As far as I can see, you were OK crawling around the flywheel because you know what you are doing and are taking a calculated risk which you sometimes have to do being a one man band. Besides, NaNa cat was watching and she would let you know if you are doing it wrong. The flywheel is spinning real smooth. Let me wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving and NaNa a pat on the head.
As always brother you make amazing videos I love what you’re doing with these old stream engines ❤ these things you’re doing keep our past alive where the engines begin in human history
Nana cat doing cat scans awsom I love Nana cat
I just LOVE her markings. She is one beautiful cat gal.
Here comes Kitty to tell ya how to do it!
If she had thumbs, she'd be building stuff!
Jonathan, you have a gift with these machines, you understand what they need and have the ability to get her done!
Nanna is a good kitty. Loves to get into the thick of things to be an assistance to Jonathan whenever possible. I love that kitty!
"Don't stand under your load like this. I'm only doing it to teach you not to" Thanks papa Jonathon for the lesson LOL (this is really funny as I'm probably not much younger than you) Nana cat is such a lover. She's awesome

🗿 yep 👍
Made me smile too 👍
Precision work at its finest. Can’t wait to see the engine spring to life. Well done.
Seeing you succeed in these builds makes me feel like I won something.
Now I'm just going to glow for awhile.
Thanks.
That wheel is a thing of beauty! Can't wait to see this engine fired up and spinning that wheel!
This is a great start to Sunday morning...a quick problem, diagnosis, and treatment of a brake issue. Bonus: wrecker bed installation. Jonathan W doesn't let the grass grow under his feet👍

Super progress Jonathan, complete with cat scan , love the fly wheel ,
Mornin Jonathan and NaNa!!! Thanks for the Safety lesson!!!!! Meow to NaNa!!! Cat Scan complete..... Thank You Jonathan for the Update!!! Good Job as always!!!
You know it's going to work just fine when Nana Cat gives it her mark of approval.
I really enjoy you enjoying yourself JW.
Good to see you happy knee deep in the stuff you love.
Nice work Johnathan. Always a pleasure watching you get stuff done.
Interesting. Looks good. And the cat is satisfied with the result too.
If you've never been a mechanic, you may well not have any notion of how much work is involved off screen in this excellent video.
You could give this man a toothpick and a piece of bailing wire and he could build a battleship! Simply amazing what you do Jonathan.
I started watching because of your wrecker builds. Easier than pulling the roof open.
I love your videos! And I can't believe the way you can get your projects done. You must be a work horse!
Looking great! Nana Cat looks happy about it too.
Great work and great video! Great cat too!
Jonathan, you never cease to amaze!
Good evening J.W from Western Australia

Glad the brake problem was an easy fix. I've seen the shoes being installed backward cause it to grab hard when you try to move, too. Looking good!
Thanks ,Johnathan, always interesting, educational and entertaining.
Central California watching
I love the "coil plug" on the fuel tank filler neck. If it works, it ain't wrong.
They are waterproof!! LOL
Getting the bed on the wrecker will make another fine addition to the fleet.
Always impressed by what you can do on your own... I figure you could probably build a pyramid if you set your mind to it... 👍
I see the foreman showed up to make sure Johnathan was doing it right!! LoL
Jonathan, you just never cease to amaze me. Is there ANYTHING you won't try to do?
thanks for showing what most men have lost the ability to do. Fix/repair stuff with what you have,
Yes, amazing work! Thanks!
Wish I heard more "Hey Folks! Jonathan here" than what we have been hearing lately.
Great job ,on everything ,cat scan gave her approval i noticed :-)..thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Hard work BUT you did it and looks great, and that new wrecker is going to be another useful tool in your tool box.

Very cool! Good job
Would like to see more videos on putting the engines together please
Wrecker came in handy.
Damn sure didn’t take you long to build it. Guess you knew what you wanted.
Fantastic!! Are you going to extend the roof to cover this engine? As it looks on video, the rain water would come off the roof right on the engine. Perhaps it's just an optical allusion from the camera angle? Anyway, great work!!
Yes, extending the roof over it.

Skilled...wise and resourceful.. a model in todays world...mechanical savant with a good grasp of life.....knows value and ignores cost...
I have yet to watch a video of his, where he wasn't able to do what he wanted to in his yard...
And Nanacat with her catscans!
Nice work, Merry Christmas
“I think I’ll just throw together a tow truck…” just another ho hum day for Jonathan W!
