I’m so grateful for your channel!! I’m planning to study to become a veterinarian in college and I’m not quite sure how everything works, so this video provided some insight for me! And if it’s not bothersome at all, I was wondering if you (or anybody else) could answer a question I have. Do you choose a particular animal you’d like to work with when you first enter college or is that something you worry about later on?
im so glad that my video provided some insight into vet school 🥰 usually you study all the main animals in school (production animals to smallies like dogs and cats) and everything in between too (wildlife, aquatics etc) and after you graduate you can choose where you want to branch off and work with such as becoming a smallies vet, mixed animal vet, aquatics vet etc. i hope this helps!

Loved this video! Just stumbled across your channel and love it so I subbed! The green fruit that you picked up is called a fejoa btw. I know because at my old house in the back we used to have a tree with that fruit. They are pretty good

@@xanthialee nah it's not lol. We didn't even know what it was until it started producing fruit. At first we thought it was guava, haha and then we a friend came over who knew about fruits and told us it was a fejoa tree
Try reading Teddy Doctors from K.G.😊. It's good for students and fresh grads. You never learn what happens out there after Uni. The book describes it very well. Small simple book but very informative.

I just wanted to ask one thing a friend of mine has completed her physiotherapy degree which have a duration of five years plus specialization in physiotherapy in cardiology and she is 28 years of age.She wants to study veterinary medicine as well now in abroad countries like Australia can she do that?
i dont see why your friend can't study veterinary medicine in australia if she wishes to do so :D anything is possible if you put your mind and heart to it!

yes you certainly can! i had a lot of friends who completed vet nursing get into vet through a transfer pathway 🥰
Hii I just got an offer for the vet program at Murdoch and have been binge-watching your amazing videos!! I wanted to ask how you are liking the course and if exams are pass/fail at Murdoch or if you need to get a certain percentage :)
congrats on getting an offer that is so exciting! i love the course so far and some exams are must pass it really depends on the unit :)
do you have to study a 4 year undergraduate degree before vet school or can you immediately apply for vet school after high school?
you can go straight into vet school after high school in australia :)

so I'm not anywhere near college... but my dream is to be a vet. And i don't know if you know this but can you specialize in one species of animal? Like can I focus on horses or does it have to be large animals? I'm honestly just curious lol so wondering if you knew!
yes 100% you can specialise in a specific field of animals eg. equine, wildlife, smallies etc... but in vet school you do have to go through everything but once you graduate you can choose! hope this helps 🥰

I completed 1.5 years of a Bachelor of Agricultural Science double majoring in Animal Science and Health before transferring into Vet!

Im a vet 1st year student , should a buy laptop or ipad?
An ipad will be of greater benefit to you.
Should you encounter ANY challenging topics or concepts,I am a certified Veterinarian and an online Veterinary tutor. You may book online veterinary tutorials $12/hour.
it really depends on how you study! I have both a laptop and an ipad - i used to use just my ipad in my first 2 years of study to annotate my lecture slides etc. but now i solely just use my laptop to type up my notes and flashcards and occasionally use my ipad for tutorials or workshops where i need to visualise content eg. radiology, surgery etc.

In my society people don't consider vet studies a good option. They even make fun of it and say you are same as begger. They mean vet doctors don't make money.

@saniyaperween2604 choosing to be a vet definitely comes with its challenges and that can be said for any career - as long as you love what you’re doing and learning that’s all that really matters, money will just become a product after that 😊
