Just so everyone knows, if you do this at school you could potentially go after the entire domain. (every computer in the entire county) If you are successful, once the computers reboot, trust and believe that every computer in the domain or network will be able to trace the command back to the computer that sent the command.
All lab computers have addresses, it is usually the last four or six digits of the serial number that can be found on the tower. A coffee shop might be fun as you can leave, but if you do this at school and have assigned seating you might get suspended.
Facts, even if you are more tech savvy than the teachers in the room. The people that setup the network (who are prob drinking coffee) can remotely look at network traffic and look at which computer sent the command

I got the name of 2 laptops connected to my network through that "net view"...then I added their names correctly but it is showing in cmd "the entered computer name is not valid or the targeted computer is not supported with remote shutdown..etc etc..."...Why its not working?!?

This trick will not shutdown other computers as there is restrictions by default...this will work only in client-server architecture if all the clients r configured to allowed remote connections...and also configured in active directory...

The thing is there is no need to create batch file simply open command from search or run cmd. And in enterprise environment none of the employees have admin privilege to access others machine except desktop admins. We can ping only allowed. If network poorly designed then it may possible.

U can just type netstat then shutdown -i and once u shut down /click ok to cancel it type shutdown -a and it overrides the original shut down

This wouldn’t work.
In a domain you would need to be in the administrators local group on every pc you want to shutdown. At home this wouldn’t work unless you already set up yourself in the local groups as an administrator.

This doesnt work because default settings doesn't allow the command. So you need to log in into the computer you want to shut down and change that setting. 👍
