So here is your two Luxembourgish viewers :-) okay, so we are Croatian, but living in Lux for 10 years so I guess that counts.
Glad that you enjoyed it. For me its a nice pop song, nothing revolutionary, but there are interesting sections which make it a bit more interesting. I hope she will qualify so that Lux doesnt lose interest immediately lol

I am rooting for Luxembourg. It's so nice to have them back in the contest! I would like to hear the song with more backing vocals...she seems very exposed during parts of the song. The stripped down treatment is nice during the beginning, but the chorus could really use some more vocal coverage. Overall its not a huge standout, but still a lovely song, and I hope for good things for them.

Iceland's population is about 375 000. We're probably so used to Iceland participating in Eurovision that I guess everybody has forgotten how small they actually are. This year, all I hear is Luxembourg is such a tiny country etc (and surely they are) but can't remember that being pointed out about Iceland.

I was initially disapointed, but it's growing on me. I wish it was entirely in French.

    I mean, I like it.
It’s a good song, not a bad performance. I would think this can qualify.
Is it innovative or a standout in any way? Not really. But I do enjoy it. Not a winner… but I am glad it’s there.
I do agree about the breath control though. It’s a little distracting. But I can live with it if I have to.
Oh, also. I didn’t actually think they’d come back at this point anymore.
I’m glad that they did but they will have to earn their place back as “a country to watch out for”. This was a decent start but they’ll need to do better if they want to recapture their past glory. But a hearty welcome back for now!

I will say my thoughts on the song first, the mix of French and English is cute, the melody is neat. She will need to improve breath control a good amount though.
And now, to thoughts semi-related to the song. So, Tali has Israeli heritage, her brother I believe is in IDF right now, the Luxembourg NF was produced by an Israeli company and the song that won it is called "Fighter". Which when you put all that together it definitely paints the whole thing in a different light.

Love to see Luxembourg back...but this song is honestly too average. Too easy to forget even during the actual performance. I was expecting more honest Luxembourg vibes. This was too much basic and boring latino kind of one level nonsense. I was hoping so much more. More pure melody and stronger vocals like it use to be! But this still gets points.

Yes a ton of people from Luxembourg including myself just turned on the TV and voted for who they thought had the best overall performance. And for me personally it was Tali. I only learned about her Israeli heritage after and now it is what it is.... The song is in any case not objectively TERRIBLE. It maybe isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's inoffensively mid. I hope we'll at least qualify and that RTL will take this year's criticisms to improve next year's show. :)
