Amr Zedan is amazing. He has injected untold millions in this game, helping the industry and all it's workers tho he has been treated so poorly. He had both sale toppers here, both sale toppers at the April sale, record breakers at the March sale, last Mid Atlantic and also last April. Without him, this Beholder colt would not have met the reserve the other night and the Into Mischief would have barely sold for a million - that is 6 million he injected in this game in a single night.
On top of helping the industry, he keeps his horses running past 3. 99% of connections would have retired Taiba, but he brought the top son of Gun Runner back. And while Repole is crying about how it's not fair that Forte could not run in a single derby and had his failed drug test finally released after NYRA hid it for 6 months, Zedan has been robbed of two eclipse awards, he was robbed over a Derby, he has been dragged thru the mud all while being a quiet and respectful gentleman that is even kind to those that treat him the worst. He has every reason to act as Repole is now, to leave this sport and stop helping it, but the man is a true horseman and really loves this game.
We could all learn a thing or two from Mr Zedan, but many in this game are too tribal, to politically too stuck in their ways, too negative and spiteful, and it is that toxic mentality which is ruining the sport and forcing people like Repole to say they are finished.

Well I didn't know Repole had quit the game evidently nobody looked at that horse's feet when they bought him: four white feet.... he had a bruised foot that kept him out of the Derby & they don't have any drugs TO Treat Feet worth of damn let me clue you!!! And at the sales I've never seen any one of them: Bob Baffert, D Wayne Lukas, Pletcher look at a horse's foot! In 27 years at the sales with Gainesway I've only seen two people look at their feet, one was Jack Van Berg (who could SHOE his own horses) and the other was two Venezuelan guys, one in a wheelchair.... only thing is they picked up the wrong foot cuz that horse had one leg shorter than the other (I don't know if they bought him or not....)

Well it's good that Mr. Baffert got him.... let's just hope them Kentucky hard boots don't bar him from the Kentucky Derby! They don't seem to appreciate good Horsemen...😢😢.😢

Totally agree. It's shameful what they have done to him, all because he was too good a horseman. Racing has enough problems without trying to ruin our legends over jealousy.

Perhaps if Bob stopped drugging and killing his horses they'd let him race there.

@@OfficialMuffiin no I do not support drugging horses (I probably have the only Thoroughbreds in the state of Kentucky that hasn't had a needle in them: 33 years old, the last one I raced, 27 years old, 22 years old, and 21 years old! That's why I'm stuck in Kentucky) but what do veterinarians do I mean what are they trained to do the same as doctors they are trained to use drugs by the pharmaceutical companies then you look into the picture a little stronger because the dirt and them stalls at Churchill Downs HAS been in there for 150 years and every sick, dilapidated animal thats gone through the races has been in one of them stalls and being's how Horseman Shipping Into IT for 10 days, two weeks before the Derby and they haven't a clue when their horses get a guttural pouch infection and I don't think he's like Charlie Whittingham bringing his own water and his own hay with him! So there you go on clay soil there's this thing called ergot, a fungus and if you feed that hay you're bound to get a guttural pouch infection and with the length of the stretch at Churchill and Hawthorne the longest in the United States in Deep River Bottom sand like the last Derby WHEN they didn't put any water on it (that's the only time it is fast) horses cup out & run out of gas..... if you listen to Medina Spirit Galloping before & after the Derby you could hear him rattling so I imagine what happened to him is his epiglottis dropped down and he choked to death before you got off the racetrack ( look at Omaha Beach with draw reins) BE knowledgeable BEFORE YOU going to throw accusations you don't know a damn thing about Churchill Downs!!!

Bob Crackfert sounds kind of slurred in his speech I think he may have jabbed himself accidentally trying to dope one of his trainees.

He wouldn't be worth more than 1.5 milli8n if he was a good great horse. His actions on the track shows he might be a great horse. Doesn't like To led by the assistant horse which shows it dorsentlike to be second.

@@villarreal6 well for all that money they spent they still got "white feet" and he's a chestnut so it's doubtful he can accept much skin salve if he has any type of leg trouble....
