My mom got a kidney transplant in 1989, after spending 2 debilitating years on dialysis, and it gave her another 27 years with me...I was just 16 when she had her transplant, and she lived until I was 43 so that transplant really changed our whole family's lives.
You were so blessed that someone had the courage and determination to be an organ donor at that time.
I am sorry for the loss of your Mom. But glad you got to spend mkre time with her.. She will always be with you in your memories and your heart..
Humanity and Gods love shown through the actions of others I pray that each can experience this kind of a blessing in their life as these types of events are truly beautiful and I feel are the kind or miracles that open a person mind and heart to accept things they usually wouldn’t so thank God for the love you were able to experience and the life you were able to have with your mum. @@donaldstephens6001 It happened because my uncle was there for his sister, and because the surgeons & nurses did a great job...no one else made it happen, and giving credit to an imaginary person only discredits the actions of my uncle and the surgical team. I'm sure you meant well, but please consider that not everyone shares your beliefs so maybe abstain from forcing it upon others.

Just beautiful. In 2015 my 27 year old daughter passed, and I had her become a doner. She had given her heart to a 61 year old woman, kidneys and lungs. . I have tried to connect with these people but can't seem too. Is there any advice anyone can give. I would appreciate. Thank you. Jennifer
In Spain you are an organ donor by default. You have to actively remove yourself from the register if you do not want to be a donor. You can check the organ transplant statistics in the world and see what this does.
