I haven't listened to this for awhile, and the tears are falling down my face again, just like the first time I heard him sing it.
When a performer who tells a story, you know they are really good when “you can hear a pin drop” in the audience. He mesmerized everyone and took them with him on an emotion ride of a love shared between a father and his son. I was envious and happy that he had that, that he had such a loving, devoted father. Heart broken that it was short lived but, it made such an impact on his life. Now, having a son of his own, he will carry on his fathers legacy.
The response from the Audience shows that people still have Love and Compassion for their fellow citizens.

That song and his performance made me cry. My husband is a composer, pianist and though country music is a genre we do not resonate with we both loved the song. I liked the lyrics, the performance particularly the chorus where he incorporated a common pop way of singing and then combined it with the country western style.
