Movies that received a pass or were approved by the Hay's Code would nowadays receive a G, PG, or PG-13 (the latter of three depending on the genre) rating. Though, even after Walt's death & the abandonment of the Code, the studio heads still followed it especially animated productions.
Cinderella was by far my most favorite Disney movies. I loved how Cinderella still remained kind and sweet, affectionate over the years when she was mentally abused by her Stepmother and Stepsisters. For a lot of people that would be really hard to do or put up with. This was such a wonderful story I loved when the fairy godmother showed up and gave Cinderella an absolutely gorgeous new dress after her Stepsisters violently ripped her mother’s dress to shreds. This is one of my most favorite Disney movies other than Bambi and The Lion King

Still the greatest Cinderella film of all time. I feel like any other version of the story is a bootleg compared to the Disney animated masterpiece. This IS Cinderella; more so than the original story. It redefined the story forever with grace, class and the most unparalleled presentation.
i will say that they did a pretty good job with the most recent live action remake. it’s the only disney remake that i’d enjoy rewatching. it stays true to the source material while also giving an explicit message that was hinted at in the original film: “have courage and be kind”. it’s a wholesome movie overall and i wish they decided to take that direction with all remakes. the ones that have come after it are horrible and cash-grabby. aka beauty and the beast😐

Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty all had this magical chorus intro that sadly modern Disney will never understand the charm in these little things.
As much as I love Encanto, I feel you. Cinderella is my favorite Disney movie from the 50’s.
That was our culminating activity last 2009 in Santa Isabel International School. I was one of the sword dancers in the school play during that time.
Disney should get back into it’s old traditional mojo for future animated movies based on a certain fairy tale with the opening of storybook and the closing

This song always struck and spoke to me from the first time I heard it as a child. I knew they was singing to me.
But why change the aspect ratio?
When hearing the cinderella theme song, especially if you watched this as a kid, you can't help but think of meeting a very beautiful 😍 👸 on a magical trip in the future 😉. A beautiful and smart Princess 👸 on a beautiful journey together to a magical castle in a far away land.
