The twist where it says "she would only have to survive 2 days without water, there was a storm on monday" was amazing to me.
Totallynot aweeb yeah the rain could’ve killed her as easily as saved her
@@kdpowers Wait how?
@@rayspecter3495 mudslides, flash flooding also is common in the NoCal mountains.
It gave me goosebumps
I literally got chills when she said that
If you're here watching this and haven't seen the movie yet, congratulations... you just played yourself from watching the greatest plot twist ever!!
I fell bad for those people
It’s because i was still a minor when this came out and my mom wouldn’t let me watch it. And now I don’t know where to watch it so I just watched the movie clips😭
Havent heard of this movie yet and if only this was in netflix
@@Yeahimman32Netflix isn't everything, there's a website you can use
It’s sad that there really are such toxic parents. “My son is a little different” “He made a mistake” “It was harmless role playing”. He stalked a girl and pushed her down a ravine. Your son is a budding psychopath.
Yeah like tossing a baseball into someone’s window is one thing but first degree murder is another thing entirely.
"He is my son."
Yeah, only your child is precious, someone else's is trash. This lady is a lunatic. If she really loves her son, she wouldn't treat her son like a brainless puppet. We can love our children, but we must also differentiate between what's right and what's wrong. Crazy woman.
It would be only a matter of time until he does something again, and that time she won’t be able to save him
The detective would’ve gotten away too if it wasn’t for literal luck. If the picture of Hannah was never used in the site he would’ve never found out who tried to murder his daughter let alone rescued her. The fact in real life many couldn’t find their loved ones or get justice only because there was one missing link in the chain is just terrible.

Mom and son both deserve jail time. They didn't even bother to look for Margot.
Agreed. Bad people do bad things. Vick's son should have not physically touch her which partly sexual assault and Faking account to make friends or relationship. Vick shouldn't lack the evidence to law enforcement in order to protect her son. Vick should have speak to her son like a family matter and though relationship stuff in life or teach him a proper lesson as a grown up.
if Vick's son. call the police. and morgot survive on first day. it will be classified accident case. maybe some punishment for Vick's son cause he make a fake story. but he try make it clear and return the money to morgot.
no one will be jailed.
@@DarkslayerNinja Vick did not sexually assault her, sexual assault is more than just touching someone of the opposite gender. Even something like physical assault doesn't automatically quality as sexual assault.
Faking and account and lying are both morally wrong but they still aren't illegal. The worst thing the son did was entire the car without permission (but that's not sexual assault) and then he accidentally pushed back. At worst that's manslaughter but even then, it was such a chaotic situation that it might not count. The son also might have had a mental disorder which would have provided him leniency.
The moment it legit became murder was when he and his mom tried to cover it up because that's whey they showed willing intent to cause her harm. But everything before (besides entering the car) was not illegal. It was at points unreasonable and immoral but not illegal.
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi automatically? Then why she has disappeared after Vick’s son follow her and then call his mom about the situation? Your comment is approve point at least but I don’t give a shit because it’s just a movie. I only comment what I feel about the video.
Well, Robert may have been stalking her and fraud but he overcame with guilty and try to give the money that he rip her back. But she was confused and as they got into a fight he just pushes her off into the ravine as it is dark to see. Once he notices he commits attempt involuntary manslaughter he try confessed it but instead, his mother just covers it up.
His mother is a true criminal. Idk if he could able look for Margot as it midnight and likely he confused and shock while mother doesn't even look as it would lead arrest of her son
The detective did a convincing job at covering it up, to the people around her, Margot’s father and anyone who might’ve watched the news broadcast

"Mommy is gonna take care of everything" That's a red flag right there no mom still talks to their teenaged son like that lol.
same thoughts here, both mom and son are too attached to each other

All of it actually is the mom's fault, the way she protected her son is already out of hand, she tried to lie, manipulate, and even worse, made her friend kill himself, as for the son, even though he accidentally almost killed Margot , he still has good intentions and just wants to do the right thing, its just the lack of social and misunderstandings that caused the incident
In fact it is implied that she was the one who killed that man
@@gustavohorn2194 what man?
He was basically stalking her though
@@dominickraheem8459the dude who made the confession on liveleak
Excellent !!!!!!! ;)
The detective reminded me of the mothers of SA culprits who blame the victims instead of admitting that their ‘precious child’ did a crime
Number 1 tip when getting caught: DON'T talk to the police, lawyer up and talk to your LAWYER... not the police.
When I was watching this with my friend she straight up called the son being a fucking creep and she was right
i watched this movie before, it was awesome.
What if Robert just came clean to her through YouCast that way Margot could've not acted startled of him when they meet up to return the money.
If a person with special needs knows right from wrong and this teen did know cos he wanted to confess to the police - they should be charged to the full extent of the law and have accountability.

i just watched this movie last night and the way i was on the very EDGE of my seat 😭🍿
I'm Really proud markot dad really
BRUH I PREDICTED IT FROM THE START I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING UP WITH THIS WEIRDO DETECTIVE
One thing that I still don't understand, how can Margot found Robert (the stalking kid) venmo?
The Mother Detective only said that Margot found his son's venmo and wired the money, but the account was already deleted?
I'm still confused for that part.
Plus I think fish_n_chips doesn't leave any clues regarding Venmo account during the live chat?
Let's just give all the praise to Debra Messing's haunting performance of Detective Rosemary Vick!
Holy shit, as a guy with previous mental health issues, I'm glad I never went to this path. Find compassion in the little things. The pretty people that we see online are never going to have a genuine connection with you.
I can’t believe I got ripped off by this movie!!!
I can't believe I thought the Uncle and Margot were having an affair 😔😔😔
They weren’t
They weren’t they were just smoking weed together and she was confiding in her uncle about her depression.
Same here, thank god it was only about smoking pot
they probably were - uncle took advantage of her possibly. Seems this young girl was surrounded by evil.
Definitely not lmao.
I was very scared
A mother shouldn't prevent their children from facing accountability
This women drugged a man who even trusted her and made him commit sewerslide, covered the murder of a young girl same age os her son, and fooled the father despite CONSTANTLY seeing his breakdowns, worry, and misery.
Small things eventually escalate which why not everyone can be a parent
Also side note: she went from preventing the arrest of her son to both going to jail together
What happened to her son after this? I mean did he even had otyer relatives that could take care of him? This sounds like a criminal minds badguy origin story
One thing its for sure he'll never see her again
2:57 oh 4:05
I was surprised to find out that he was fish_n_chips
did margot quit piano lessons to have money for fish_n_chips' mom's hospital bills?????
Geez, dude, spoilers much!?!?
Why isn't this movie available on any platform? Not on netflix/hulu/peacock---why? so weird---this is the only movie I actually have searched for.
it's available on amazon and vudu.
It on Amazon prime
The irony how she says she would do anything for her son literally leaving another man's child to die while defending her own from prison that's is next level selfishness and malice. but great movie all together
+ she killed a comrade and blamed him from the murder
I’m pretty sure she assumed Margot was already dead and felt that the only thing left to do was to protect her son.
@@cHeStEr5434 But the fact that she was willing to deceive him just so she won’t get into trouble is selfish.
It's hard but real Great parents "turn in" there kid's sometimes.
@@greendude7650 Oh for sure mine would turn me and my brother in in a heart beat, couldn't be mad either because I know it would be because they care so much and that they would genuinely be concerned
What really surprised me is that how the detective would do anything (even deadly) for her troubled son. Simple characterization, but it works flawlessly.
I like how they foreshadowed it, the detective talked about how her son had tried to scam people out of money before, and she covered up for him then too.
How the Mother*
I can't believe that a movie like this still exist in this modern era. My favourite movie of the year

HAHAAH LMAOOO
MINE DID TOO HOLY SHIT
We need to appreciate how fantastic was Debra Messing's acting on this film
absolutely. John Cho took away all the compliments but Debra was fantastic too.
I had a small feeling that the Detective was somehow involved. It was a gut feeling. And in the end, I was right.
Rollplanig isn’t harmless at all it‘s catfishing and that should be a crime to put up an fake identity and should be punished by the law
Sweetheart Okay IT SHOULD! I had to take down my Facebook and Instagram because someone kept stealing my damn pictures.
And I thought she went to Whitecastle..
Actually while investigating the case police will check phone call recordings in surrounding area.but investigation officer is murderer mom.so no problem.sad thing is many cases not revealed because of police officers cooperate for murderers.
Nice movie.
THIS MOVIE WAS FUCKING FIRE
Hello chị
Wasuuupppp what's poppin
Yall think Mr. Kim forgave his brother for the "interactions" he had with his daughter?
StaffordC88 he probably did, those interactions were just him and margot smoking pot and not other things fortunately.
Just smoking and talking with her uncle
He had assumed that his brother took advantage of his daughter but his brother told him that she wanted to talk to her uncle about how sad and miserable she was since her mother's passing and that her own father really didn't know how to cope, deal or discuss their feelings and emotions.
