Too right brother. They are, and always have been one of metals best, and most unique bands.
This band is so underated. Checkout anything from The Ultra Violence (1987) when they were teenagers to their most recent album, Humancide. Released in 2019. Checkout the title track.
Legendary band.
The instrumental title track off their first album is a masterpiece. But beyond that these guys are criminally under rated. And Rob Cavestany's signature Death Angel guitar remains my favorite guitar design to this day, there is a reason thats the body I choose when I got my Jackson custom shop guitar.

Saw them last year...they still thrash.
It sounds like going through self defeating behavior, having regret, yet always coming back to sin because you are stuck in that pattern.
Always loved Death Angel. Check out the album “The Dream Calls for Blood”. Incredible thrash album, and the cover artwork is insane.
The song means... Sin will forever tempt, and even if saved, like s moth to a flame, we often still kamikazee through life!

I will always love this band. There is an awesome band called “Reign of fury”. They are an amazing band that is newer with an old school metal sound. Check them out. Give them some exposure. If anyone reading the comments hasn’t heard of them, go and check them out. They are one of my top fav newer metal bands for sure 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Death Angel is part of that second tier of older Thrash bands. Like, of course, you have the big 4: Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica & Megadeth.
But, then you have the slightly less mainstream guys like Testament, Overkill, Exodus, Annihilator and finally, Death Angel.
Speaking of those bands, you gotta check out some more of them. Annihilator actually just put out a new album called Sadistic, Ballistic (I think). Probably their heaviest to date. I Am Warfare is pretty good representation of that, y'all should check that out.

My interpretation:
The narrator is the metaphorical devil on the shoulder, the antagonist, the sin of man personified - however you choose to imagine that archetype. It is speaking to his opposite, the Jesus, the superman, whatever ideal we strive to be, and gloats in the fact that it cannot be overcome - because 'the Moth' does not need to survive to win - it only needs to assure mutual destruction in order to corrupt people. I think it speaks to a cyclical duality.

I know this may not be as fresh but it'd be fun if you guys did a reaction to the Ricky Gervais monologue at the Golden Globes this year :') that'd be really interesting to see (I imagine you guys will have some very interesting things to say about what he said). Much love

Don't know if they mentioned it or not but Death Angel Humanicie is up for a Grammy.
Probably the only real 'metal band' in the bunch.
I also think Imortal Behated from that record would have been a better choice and a little more accessible to people while still a thrashing tune.

Oh, look, after *21½ months* since the start of this channel, *Death Angel* finally makes it to a Reaction video! It's understandable and perfectly reasonable since they've existed since 1982 (hiatus 1991-2001) and released 9 studio albums. And their overview in Wikipedia currently (15 Jan 2020) says, "Death Angel is often referred to as *one of the key bands* in the Bay Area thrash metal movement of the 1980s, and secured opening slots at club venues that decade, including opening for their peers Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Overkill, D.R.I., Mercyful Fate and Possessed." - So, it's been justifiable to have Reactions to 40 Metallica songs and about 30 Slipknot songs so far, but *no* Death Angel before this. Oh-kay... I guess I should consider this a blessing, seeing as I rather buy lots of great albums than throw hundreds of dollars into "Alliance Points" with absolutely *zero* guarantee I'll see a Reaction anytime soon, *unless* I pay *$75* for a guaranteed Reaction! And what's that, you say? You're now at *136 k* subs but "Socialblade predicts we will be over 225k subs in the next 4 months!!" Well, I guess we'll see about that in *mid-May 2020!*

if you live in the bay are this band just gets better and better over time there are no albums that suck. They are great live and never miss a show and they do there home fans pure honor. Something that mettalica does not do and both bands been around just as long. mettalica dont care about who made them famous dudes are dicks. Death Angel does new years christmas shows every year for the bay area. Testament Death angel And exxodus all have survided on better music why mettalica survives on i dont know what they call that lame stuff they pay now.
