  • Field recording with sedentary birds in Cardet along the Gardon river that had heavily grown from the rain. This is the beginning of the dawn chorus, as the robin sets in, and followed by a blackbird more in the foreground. Other birds are present as time goes by. The noisy drone sound is the Gardon river and it is why I kept the recording. Normally the sound from the Gardon river sounds differently so this is for documentation and comparison.
Enjoy listening. This is a full take with no cuts.

Amazing sounding dawn chorus recording. Very clear and a natural stereo image. Spring is a very special time, as you can hear very well in your recording. Nature awakens to the new and fills everything with life. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment .Best regards

Yes, in cities everything stays the same more or less, lots of dead stuff like bricks, concrete, roads, metal structures... In nature everything is alive, even the dead trees are filled with life. What a difference. And how wonderful every year again to hear the change in seasons. 🙂

Best wel een eigenaardige merel voor mijn gehoor. Zou dat een Cardets accent zijn?

Ja er zitten verrassende stukjes tussen waar je zou denken aan een lijster door die herhaalde noten en soms die menselijke fluittonen.
