Panasonic HD HC-V800 Recorder Wind Noise Reduction tip/fix

A fix I have done to reduce the wind noise on my Panasonic HD HC-V800 digital recorder, using an inexpensive GoPro Hero 5 windproof foam cover. Really works well, and has changed my recording having to no longer worry about the breeze - give it a go!

The quality is excellent with a fantastic lense, just watch some of my videos, but make suer you watch in the highest quality.

Hi Mark, any idea about how the external mic is operated? I have bought an external mic with a 5 meters cord and for some reason its not working for me. should i take any special steps after connecting the mics into the camera? i am not getting any connection indication after connecting the mic into the camera.....?

Assaf Wollman I am sorry I have never used an external microphone, so cant help. Do you have instruction manual, if not it is available online, hope you get it sorted ok 😀

How does the camera do in very low light?

mwstoll hi there, not done much in low light and have nothing to compare what I have done. But my feeling is that what I have done was not to bad until it got really dark. Sorry, not much help I know!

For outdoor use, the artificial/faux fur fabric is a better solution.
