The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. I don't have a full-time job; instead, I'm self-employed with a variety of sources of income. Regardless of how much money I generate each month, I maintain the same budget and adhere to my means-tested lifestyle.
The best course of action if you lack ma-rket knowledge is to ask a consultant or invest-ing co-ach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a con-sultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my port-folio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

OF ALL THE CHANNELS on CZcams, Erika's has impacted my life. I have never been into personal finance or had the courage to start my own business (or CZcams channel). BUT, after being inspired by her, I took the plunge, followed her advice, bought several of her products, and have begun taking a whole new direction in my life aside from the traditional Assistant Professor route. And these videos are so dense with good information that I have to constantly start, stop, and write notes on a Word Doc for each one. That's a good thing, hahaha

A lot of your income streams rely on already being either rich or extremely successful… you can’t make significant dividend money if you have no money to invest. No one gives you sponsorships or asks you to speak if you’re not already famous or notably successful somehow.

Okay but isn’t that the point of the video? She took her area of expertise and instead of only depending on income that she gets when she is physically at work, she found other ways of generating income from that expertise. I think the points she was trying to make was to build income streams that don’t require your time to generate income and put part of your income to work making you more income, no matter how much you make.
Sounds like an excuse. Instead of expecting to get rich quick, work hard to get there. Take baby steps. Make a plan and take action. Then you too can be where she is

I love your channel and this video is my favorite! One thing you forgot to also mention is that you first need Capital to get an income. Cause all streams kinda of need you to put money down first :)
No matter how small, just do anything to generate income while you sleep. The only way to truly observe what life may be like without your regular source of money, when everyone was forced to stay at home, is during a pandemic. But, thanks to my FA, I invested in a trading firm where I make four figures every week, so I wasn't particularly harmed. Spending less and investing more are the finest things you can do for yourself.

STEM degree was the biggest contributor to financial independence and return on time spent. If in doubt how to get ahead, acquiring a certificate, 2 or 4 year degree should be first on the list while adding additional streams along the way to your goal.

You right getting an education that you later use to generate income from is one of the most common ways to get living wages. No eduicatyi8on now means far less income.

So glad I found your channel, I am a big fan of your videos and how natural you present them. Can I ask about pre-selling courses - Do you give the buyers a start date for this course, and how do you determine when the course will be ready before it is created?
Thank you! I'll do a more in-depth video soon, but before I pre-sold, I mapped out the entire curriculum. If you aren't sure how long it'll take to create, try create 1 module (out of the X modules in your course) to get a sense of how long the entire course would take. I did give buyers a start date :)
Interesting ideas but most have one thing in common: being a people person. What if I’m by nature a hermit and I don’t want to be seen by people? Then I’m down to day job, dividends, drop-shipping, and using Airbnb to rent my guest room. 😢
