You CAN use with a Mac, as long as you use Boot Camp which is already installed on most Macs. Boot Camp allows you to have Windows on your Mac. I almost purchased a new computer specifically for this until I started researching how to get windows on my Mac and after researching found this way. 👍🏻

@@HaiTech Not for windows.. I didn’t pay for anything and now have windows on my Mac. I know if you want say office or something like that you have to pay for it. But not to download the windows operating system though .
I can’t remember specifically how I went about downloading Windows but if you search the bootcamp process on Apples website Apple walks u though the entire process. ..
when I switch over to windows my Mac boots up just as if it were windows p/c…your able to switch between the two , Mac and windows (all on your Mac.)
@@HaiTech and I am NOT tech savvy in the LEAST bit. 😂… if I’m able to do it anyone else can. Its a process to do but as long as your determined (and I was determined (to not have to purchase a brand new computer with windows opp to do this, it works.)

I did the BootCamp install about a month ago to have my Mac prepared for when I received my printer. Honestly my heads fried at this point between all of the steps to do both; getting windows on Mac and also configure all the print settings for printer. (Somehow when I did the boot camp I ended up getting windows on there because that’s the entire point lol… I had to reinstall something for printer and when I did it and the printer was finally all set up it wouldn’t rip. I looked further into it and saw windows needed activated. (Thank goodness @HaiTech mentioned this because my brains so fried at this point I’m not sure I would have even realized … I had windows ..but really didn’t have it lol (because I had never paid for it up to that point. I just walked through the steps from Apple and at some point had windows installed and all seemed to be working fine .. , (I was able to use Skype and everything else which I even used to speak w Procolored people this week (on my Mac.)
All was fine until I tried to rip/print which is where the disruption came from by not having purchased the activation key code.
Once I purchased it I was able to print and all works perfect now.
Hi! Your video is so helpful, thank you! Quick question. When you’re using the string to get the ink flowing, instead of wasting it can’t you just squirt it back into its ink container? Or is it not okay to do that?
during the initial setup process Procolored recommends to squirt it into the ink waste container. i'm sure if you just squirted it back into the ink container it's not going to do much harm. i actually thought about that when i was doing the setup, but to show the viewers i wanted to go by the book.
I need an updated version. The one I just received does not have that same roller rack and some other things are different as well
hi, thanks for the videos! when pulling the ink into the dampers, why not put the excess back into the tanks?
Procolored says not to in their instructional vieos, but they didn't give a reason why. i think you can put it back into the tanks lol. i realized that after the printer was setup.

Now, I’m struggling with colours, how to increase and decrease the %, saturation, brightness… do you have any knowledge of these?
I have never had to adjust the contrast. Let me ask them and i'll get back with you
on the top right click the CMYK tab. there should be an area to make changes for brightness, contrast, and saturation. I have never had to mess with this setting to get great prints. you could try it and see if it helps. it could also just be your image itself. perhaps correcting the image in photoshop or a photo editing software first and then importing it into PRO RIP

I would have a need for this machine three weeks out of the year. Would I be able to clean and store the printer for 11 months without the heads drying out?
good question. you would have to ask Procolored that question directly as that is a very long time to store a printer.
I installed the software. It gets to the point where it rips the image, but it won't send it to print it. Would it just keeps saying error when sending to print..can u help with this problem?
i would get in touch with Procolored customer service. if you go here www.procolored.com/pages/warranty-policy scroll down to where it says "need additional help" there's multiple ways you can get in touch with them. they'll be able to pin point the problem and correct it.
I brought a used procolored 13 Single Head A3DTF Printer Roller L1800 Panda Gen 1 & oven. I have dongle, but I cannot get access to the things inside. What do you think I should do?
Did you get a white usb with it? The white USB has all of the software and drivers. You have to install those first

Turning it completely off also turns off the agitator to the white inks. I leave my main power on sometimes to keep that process going although I know this is inefficient.
you must have the upgraded model. mine didn't have the white ink agitator.@@jcmoney11111
Can someone please help me. I have a problem with my manual software USB drive when I go to push it in it retracts back and the computer can't read it. I used it a few days ago and it worked fine; I installed the rip software from it but not the driver. Is there a way I can take the plastic off or is there a website to download the drivers? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello I just got my printer set up and printed a few different designs out already. The colors are coming out way different than the actual image. Would you possibly be able to tell me how to fix it. I haven’t been able to find any information on fixing the problem. Thank you 😊!
it's probably a super simple fix in the Pro RIP software. I would reach out to their support team and they'll know exactly what to do.

This is a wonderful video. Can you help me though with the printing part. I have followed the instructions here and uploaded all drivers. but when I go to print. It gives me a Failure error,
try this video from procolored. czcams.com/video/tSQJETK8zkk/video.html you have to set some settings in the RIP software as well. the video may be showing you a L805 file, but you select the file that matches your printer model. example: if you have L1800, select the L1800 file. hard to explain but if you watch the video it should pretty easy to follow along.
I think i didnt wait until my light was solid green before installing the ink now it will not work what do i do?
i would contact their customer service. they will be able to walk you through. i'm sure its a simple fix. they're available after 6PM.
Pulled the ink through all my lines but when trying to pull out of waste line, nothing is coming out after trying for several minutes.
did you make sure all of the ink sacs are pushed all the way down on the print head?
I see a small air pocket in the yellow. What do I do?
it should be fine. just so long as the whole tube isn't filled with air pockets. that 1 air pocket should come out as you print more
What kind of pc do I need to connect printer with? I understand windows but is there a specific memory amount I need & plug in?

it will run on any windows computer. do you have a windows computer? as for what printer you have, you could check your email and see what model you bought.
Do you know where I can get a new flash drive for my epson 1390 DTf printer? I can’t find mine and I need to do maintenance on it

Hello, could you tell me what the extra bottle of white ink is for it says “print head unused protective solution”is that just another extra bottle of white ink or how do I use that because that wasn’t in any of the descriptions of this printer when I bought it or when I unpackaged it?
My package did not have that bottle when i received mine. It must be a something new they've added. It looks like a print head cleaning solution.

Hi, I am considering buying one of Procolored's dtf printers, the 13" Dual Heads DTF Pro, but I can't find any information about the Pro Rip software that they use. Does the ProRip have a print manager or are you able to que multiple prints at a time or does each print need to be loaded consecutively as the other print finishes? I heard that the free software you get from most companies are the pirated and altered copies of the old AcroRip but I don't know if this is the case with Pro Rip. If it is I would prefer to buy AcroRip 11 and use that but Procolored said that it will not be compatible with the printer I consider buying.

I just got this printer and when I hit the power button it turns on but the printer head is stuck and the ribbon that pulls it over slips and won’t pull printer head. HELP!

The printer that you recommended from Amazon, is it the same company as procolored ? Please explain the comparison.
Punehod and Procolored are the same company. i think Punehod is their original name before they rebranded as Procolored. when i receive packages from Procolored, the invoice and tracking info still says Punehod. if you order directly from procolored.com they have all their latest and greatest printers on there. when you order from amazon they only have a few selected printers.
I am upgrading from Procolored L805 to L1800 can I use film sheets instead of the rolls if so, what size film sheets can I use
yes you can use film sheets instead of the roll. if you decide to use the roll you can do that too. it can do both rolls and film sheets. widest sheet is 13 inch
Does the usb need to be connected to the laptop all the time or only to print?
anytime you want to use the PRO RIP software, you'll need the USB connected. without the USB dongle, the software will not open. hope that helps

Hi, thanks for sharing this video. Can you share the files in the white usb? I having problem with the download version from procolored.
the PRO RIP software version from procolored is the latest update. after you download it and install it you will need to update the dongle so that it will be able to read the new software. if you try to install the new PRO RIP and use it right away it won't recognize your dongle. when you install the new PRO RIP software there's a program that comes with it. i forgot the name of the program, something mountain. open it and udate your dongle and it will work. facebook.com/groups/194410629223200 there's also a facebook group for help.

to not void the warranty you would need to buy Procolored DTF ink. you can buy from their website or from amazon. they sell them on amazon too i believe. it may be under the name Procolored or Punehod (same company 2 different names)

I downloaded the driver and downloaded the pro Rip program but getting an error message that says "dongle not detected" Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
you should have received 2 USB flash drives. 1 has all of the videos and installation files. the other is a "dongle". the PRO RIP software will not load unless you have that dongle USB flash drive.
@HaiTech That issue was resolved by getting a USB hub. Program downloaded and works fine now. However, now the backs of my designs are not white and are transparent. I tried troubleshooting with the company but fell asleep before they could respond back. I have drawn 5ml of ink from the waste tube a few times like they told me to do. Did multiple print head cleanings and test prints, but the backs of the designs still show the colors of the actual design and aren't white. Any idea how to fix this?
try this czcams.com/video/B6CWh8yB-os/video.html import an image into the RIP software. then near the top right of the screen you'll see tabs on the side. one tab will say CMYK, another should say W1, and another one should say W2. click on W1 and make sure it says 100% white. do the same for W2.

This has been a mess for me lol. They sent the printer with no ink or powder and I paid for the bundle. They sent me an oven not the all in one shaker. Terrible experience with packaging and receiving the items the stand comes with no instructions. Hoping this will be worth it when all is said and done. I got the pro. So stressful.
Hi, it's common for the bundle to come in separate packages. The ink and powder is typically shipped in a separate package. My guess is so that it does not spill all over the printer. My L1800 model came in 3 separate packages if i recall correctly.
@@HaiTech thank you. You are correct. They are arriving separately. Customer service confirmed this last night. They just forgot to tell me. Still waiting on shaker. They sent oven instead. That was human error in their NJ warehouse. I’m a little intimidated with installing the software for the pro. Do you have a step-by-step on that one or know of someone who does? I will say their customer service has not disappointed me because they are responsive, even though we are on a totally different time zone.
i only have the L1800 and the UV DTF printer. They have not sent me a DTF PRO so i don't have any setup videos on it. @@Stephanii213

Just got mine today it’s not letting me download RIP to my computer. It says CANT FIND KEY LOCK
