    How to print image and transfer it onto a T-shirt? Click “Add picture” to import images of PNG or JPG format. Adjust the image size within the canvas. Click “RIP” to transfer the image to the printer. The printing is already finished, cut off the printed film from the exit.
    Fully cover the wet print with some adhesive powder. Curing the adhesive powder in a heating oven. Set the temperature at 125 degrees Celsius and the countdown timer to 180 seconds. The curing time is flexible, if the print is too wet, it need longer time to dry up entirely. In the oven, adhesive powder is melting down, inks are drying up and embedding onto the adhesive layer.
    The next step is to transfer the print onto the shirt. Set the temperature of heat press at 135 degrees Celsius and timer to 30 seconds. Before heat pressing, get rip of the wrinkles on the T-shirt and iron it flat, so that the pattern on the clothes doesn’t absorb uneven pressure. Put the DTF print onto the T-shirt and start heat transfer. It takes no much time for the machine to transfer the designs onto fabric of the shirt. Peel off the transfer film when it is cooled down and we get a customized T-shirt!

    Great video, question… how do you avoid white outlines around the halftone dots after pressing T-shirt….I halftone a lot of my designs but when I press them… you can see the white outline around the dots which then makes the halftone look weird.. any help? Should I lessen the white ink on PRO RIP? any help?

    • @ProcoloredPrinter
      @ProcoloredPrinter  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Choke the white - There is a function "Invaginate/Extend" in the "W1“ and ”W2” settings, which are located at the right edge of the RIP software. You can narrow the white layer for several pixels.

    • @Dave_RNWD
      @Dave_RNWD Před 6 měsíci

      @@ProcoloredPrinter thank you! can you make a video talking about this function please ? Or give me a rundown on how to use it. Please and thank you 🙏

      If you are using the L1800 printer, open the Pro RIP application, import an image. There are "CMYK", "W1", "W2" on the right edge of the application window. Click the "W1", select "Invaginate", the 4 blanks represent the four directions, the numerical value represents the pixel value. Fill the four blanks with "1" or "2". Do the same thing in "W2”. @Dave_RNWD

    What settings or adjustments should be made to avoid wasting film roll (unused space) at the beginning of the printed image?

    • @ProcoloredPrinter
      @ProcoloredPrinter  Před 3 měsíci +1

      You can press the direction buttion to withdraw some film back in.

    • @Doctaj54
      @Doctaj54 Před 3 měsíci

      @@ProcoloredPrinter Yes, it was the first thing that was tried. Withdraw it back too much and the top of the printed image will be cut off. We will try and find the best spot to place the roll of film prior to printing.

      Not the one shown. It's a plastic ruler looking thing with razor blade at the bottom. It doesn't cut the edges on 13 inch film. I hate that thing. I wish mine came with what's shown in this video. You also get vague instructions. Does not come with user manual. It should come with more instructions and fine specs for 3 grand.

    My question is. What do you do if you go on vacation and can’t do maintenance on it for about a week or so? Another question, I’m planning on doing print on demand work so if I get an order every other week and don’t NEED to actually print, do I just run tiny test prints once or twice a week???

      @LevZvezdanov Před 5 měsíci

      I have the same question

    • @ProcoloredPrinter
      @ProcoloredPrinter  Před 5 měsíci +1

      If you are on vacation, you need to put a moisturizing device onto the printhead. As long as the printhead is moisturized during the vacation, it will remain good condition. After installing moiturizing device onto the print head assembly, extract out all the white ink from the waste ink tube, until you get the moisturizing liquid out of the waste ink tube.

      Yes, our printer is roll-fed. So there is no limit in length. And 12" width is also within the capacity.
