Des can’t be replaced. Hopefully he will return at one point. Des pushed the band forward. He was the momentum.

Personally I favour High on Fire. Saw the Sleep show in Winnipeg. Great to see but sound quality was not great.

Two things:
1). This was at 69 comments (nice) before I commented so I am sorry for breaking the number.
2). HOF is a supergroup. Not a single member is carried by another. Matt gets a lot of spot light (and deserves it) but who is as quick and powerful as Des Kesnel?? And Matt on the bass is amazing!!!

so powerful live I've only seen them 1 time opening {supporting the 3rd album} with GWAR & like 4 other bands in Vancouver & they had barely enuf time to play 3 songs {I'm not even kidding - it really wasn't H.o.F's fault though sounds of the underground tour managing was terrible }still amazing despite that!!
