Here's the end of the month book review for Mind Games by Nora Roberts! I hope you enjoy it! There is a LOT of soft-spoken blah, blah, blah, though I admit, I start talking a bit fast!
At then end, I give you a little review of some Smarties Candies - in a couple of different flavors. So - WARNING - there is some crunching/chewing and mouth sounds, but only for a couple minutes!

Hi Jeannie.. I’ve been watching for about 6 months now and I just wanted to tell you that you have become my favorite asmr channel ever. I suffer from severe insomnia and I do take medication for it but it doesn’t always work but without fail your videos always help me calm down and stop my racing mind and get to sleep. Awesome review Jeannie - I loved the “mind game” portion of this book (the romance was predictable but still good). It really was a good vs evil plot.

In Canada we call them Rockets (smarties are candy coated chocolate here). But I’ve not seen the sour ones before - I’m very intrigued.

My grandmother who passed away almost 10 years ago now was a big fan of Nora Roberts and she also was one of the first people to ever give me asmr so this video brought back a lot of comforting memories! Thanks Jeannie ❤

It sounds like a really good book! In the UK Smarties are little chocolate drops coated in crispy sugar (similar to M&Ms but way better).

Nice, soothing book review, and the sight and sound of you reveling in that candy had me smiling. But the most memorable line from the video came from your discussion of Thea meeting Ty: “It was like me meeting Jimmy Page!” I love how your vids often give us a portal into young Jeannie B. And speaking of Jimmy Page, in all your delving into culture and trends, I don’t remember you ever talking about movies. Did you ever see the 60s classic Blow Up (David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave)? There’s that iconic scene where the protagonist wanders into a bar late at night and the Yardbirds are playing-with both Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck! Now that’s a blast from the past! Check it out, it’s one of my favorite flicks from the 60’s.

The candy part threw me. We have smarties in canada, but they're chocolate, almost like an m&m. What you're eating is called rockets here. 😂 I was thinking you had a special edition of the Canadian smarties.

This book sounds more interesting than I would have thought of Nora Roberts. I basically think of romance novels from her and I'm not into that either. I'm reading Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler right now. It's.... scary. For a few reasons

Jeannie, thank you for the video and the book review ☺ I love to read, but I'm the same about the scary books, movies, etc! Before I met my husband I would watch scary movies and whatnot and I had nightmares all the time. Well he has never been someone to watch anything scary or demonic and when we started dating I kind of naturally drifted away from that type of stuff since he would have NOTHING to do with it 😂 I haven't had a nightmare like that in probably a decade so that just goes to show how much it impacts our minds! As always, love you and your videos ❤

This book was pretty tame...just enough to have some good suspense. Trust me...I'm a wimp! But overall, I avoid scary! 😚

It not actually new, per se. It’s that I haven’t added any low lights or darker color. It’s just been going natural and as you can see, it’s getting super light. Ok…it is really going white. 👵🏻
