Hello everyone, I hope ya'll doing great today :) For todays video I chose September by Earth, Wind & Fire (Yes, non-September listeners allowed) Check out my new Discord Server: / discord Enjoy :D
Does thou remember? The night of the bubonic ember? When it ravaged the land of our rulers? While it wiped the people away My heart was racing As the black death was closing on me And i worried about my own safety But thankfully i survived
September is called September because the month kept its original name from the Roman calendar where it was the seventh month. Septem means “seven” in Latin. The month of September was named during a time when the calendar year began with March, which is why the name does not correspond with the placement in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. In middle english, it's spelled Septembre.
*Translated to modern english* "This sounds nothing like what we hear in the churches! It is a very catchy tune! I should share it with my fellow villagers for our festivals!"
On god, just found this in my recommend section and I've already listened to the rest of them and I'm definitely expecting to see more. Do you make these songs yourself with older instruments?
Dost thou remember On ye twenty-first night of Septembre Love was changing ye mind of fools While chasing ye clouds away Our hearts were ringing in the key that our souls were singing As we danced in the night, remember How ye stars stole the night away...
Hearth now... Thine celestial voices of the divine elements- Earth, Wind and Fire. Doth thee rememberest the holy day in the 21st of September? Bah ahhhh. You shall remembererth in the sudden of morrow!

Not the September that came to mind, but still great. The first one that came to mind was Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and then The Living Tombstone's "September".

Same with November and December (9 and 10)
I think it wasn't January and February that were added, but July and August, named after some Julius and an Augustos
Remember when everyone was playing this back in the 16th century? Good times
as if it were only yesterday
It beith of thy month September

A lot of it gives me deep Wii Shop Theme vibes, but maybe I'm just associating it with that "Earth Wii and Fire" videi
