Micah Perch and Walleye are related. That is why they look similar in shape. We ever only used butter and salt and pepper on our Walleyed. They are one of te bst tasting fish when caught out of the cold water.
Walleye generally bite in low light conditions. Sunrise, sunset and sometimes throughout the night. I’m from Manitoba so I’ve eaten walleye all my life. It’s really cool seeing someone discover them. Love the content my friend, keep it up!
Still think to hang the bait in crawfish trap. They can reach into trap to get bait without actually going in. Needs to be in middle so force them to go in to eat. Just my observation. Have had problems in past like that til I watched them couple times.

Do that worm texas style off that hook. Salmon and Walleye dig that. Of course the smaller perch can make life hell when you do that. mess up a lot of worms.
Next time u break a flop like if it pulls through. Pulling back through and use a plastic hot dog bun clip thing. The little flat thing with a cut and then it has a small hole. Will fix them at least temporarily
Lake Erie, You have to come over here. fish walleye in lake Erie. Lake Erie is the walleye capital of the world. Bait= Erie Dearie (weight forward spinner) topped with night crawler or a crawler harness
The company pronounces ‘Weber’ like ‘Webber’ but here in Utah we have a popular ‘Weber’ river that we pronounce ‘Weeber’. So I’d say you’re both correct in your pronunciation. Great video btw, it was neat to see someone cook walleye more grilled style and not breaded like always. Makes me want to try it that way
Walleye eyes are extremely sensitive to light so during the middle of the day you are going to want to fish in the deeper waters for bigger walleye and as the sun starts to set they come in to the more shallow water

You should try putting the walleye in egg and then flour and then put it hot oil. Thats how we do it here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!!

In MO walleye half to be 18in long and the average length is 20in. Table rock lake/Kings River they are about 3 to 5 pounds
