APOL1-Associated Kidney Diseases - Joshua Waitzman, MD, PhD

On November 14th, 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Joshua Waitzman, MD, PhD for a special guest lecture. Dr. Waitzman is a nephrologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His research uses structural biology and biochemistry techniques to determine how high-risk variant APOL1 proteins cause progressive kidney diseases.
