The spawn trigger/ touch trigger annoyance at 6:10 is something I’ve found an easy workaround for. In this case, you would give the move trigger its own group and toggle it off at the beginning of the level, and then put a touch-triggered toggle trigger at the key to activate the group (or select it in the key’s menu instead of a trigger). The move trigger would toggle on, touch-triggered so that it won’t activate until you get to it, but it won’t have tripped before.
You could also use the new channel system. Just place an arrow trigger at the key, go to edit object and check “change channel” and “channel only” so it doesn’t affect gravity anymore, then make it move you to channel 1. Then go to edit group on the move trigger and go to the bottom right where it says “ch” and set it to 1. Now the move trigger is only active once you are on channel 1 which is only after you get the key. The channel system is actually really cool I just think rob did not do a good job letting people know it exists

0:22 Go to the editor options menu click options and change spawn group, make the object that gets the spawn group invisible and boom, you spawn at that object, also make it an object that you are able to go through.

I recently beat Forsaken City, a platformer easy demon , and honestly the level is VERY nice and good on using the new physics and mechanics GD 2.2 has to show us.
The level on It's own is a great level , not too hard and not too easy, took me about 17 minutes to beat it which is not a great time and also 191 attempts but the level was just WOW!
Tried beating Jet Lag, medium demon platformer but had no luck after the first checkpoint, the part with the thing that goes up and down Is really disorienting me, but Jet Lag is good too. I'd say Jet Lag is an Hard Demon at most not medium, or an Hard-Medium Demon because it can have some brutal timing and precise jumps! But that wraps it up, conclusion is, having to make a 2.2 platformer level is a hard thing to do! Even people like you, like Viprin and Spu7nix will probably have a hard time making a GOOD platformer level since It's so hard. I've tried making one too, It was so bad and wacky but It had some fine mechanics, but still making a 2.2 platformer is HARD!

I am actually pretty used to the platformer editor because I used to play Mario maker 2 before 2.2 had released. Though, 2.2 is way better than Mario maker. Great video!

Anyways, here's a brownie recipe
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups (106g) Dutch-process cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional as a flavor enhancer)
1 tablespoon King Arthur pure vanilla extract
16 tablespoons (227g) grams unsalted butter
2 1/4 cup (447g) granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup (180g) King Arthur unbleached all purpose flour
2 cups (340g) chocolate chips
Bake at 380 degrees farenhight
Bake until toothpick comes out with minimal residue

yo wulzy, idk if anyone has mentioned this but the event trigger is VERY useful when tying sound effects to certain actions. i.e. playing a BOING sound on a jump pad, or playing some other sound on player jump.

GDPS Editor gave me a pretty good head start into 2.2. My first platformer took a couple days and although it has questionable gameplay it has great decorations. Some random youtuber I submitted a level request to said it was rate worthy

0:28 we just began and Wulzy already made a sin and put group 1 as a starting point instead of (invisible) alpha trigger.
I feel like the music in the background is a little too loud because i would accidentally just start focusing on music and have to rewind. Also when you played the level,the mix of the gd music and background music mixed weirdly

hey wulzy, could you pls try a dropper platformer (you drop from really high and have to dodge the spikes with a and d) but you fall through boxes with different styles and effects?? it might help with learning the 2.2 editor while you make something new but familiar
