Rabbi Twerski was interviewed in the winter of 2011, as part of his effort to launch Energized Living*, where developing a stronger consciousness of Hashem's reality is the key to emotional wellness and healthy relationships.
The 12 Principles of Energized Living, also known as the י"ב פסוקים ומאמרי חז"ל, were selected by the Lubavitcher Rebbe in 1976.
(*At the time of this video, this program was called The 12 Connections)
To learn more about this work, read the book Your Awesome Self, by Shterna Ginsberg, with a foreword by Rabbi Dr. A. J. Twerski.

No !!! How can I have only just discovered him two weeks ago? Already he is resting in peace! Well, all is well as he has dispensed so much of his insights into the world! May the joy of discovery of his life's work abound; and this very kindly soul dwell forever, for deep in his soul he was such a caring man! What little I have experienced of his work touches my life, and I feel clarifies my own journey; confidence hitherto bruised, troubled me its been a fight to heal. His work is so generous. Thanks that we can have this help!

Very well explained. He has a deep understanding of the Torah as well as a diverse knowledge of his profession. Together he is able to compound the knowledge of psychiatry and the Torah and make it relevant to everything he explains so explicitly.

Rabbi Twersky, I stopped going to synagogue because people say that I physically don’t look Jewish. I was called a racist for saying that I am Jewish. What should I do? I want to get back into my practice, but I have trouble getting Saturday off. I don’t believe in the Jewish stereotypical look. I used to fix Hispanic food because I am part Hispanic. Everything I do seems looked down on because I don’t look it. Don’t fix Hispanic food. Don’t fix kosher food. What should I do? I am childless too. I don’t like Mother’s Day and my family is not empathetic about it. No one is.

Wow!! He is brilliant! Well, I think you can be happy by yourself but you can only reach happiness if you share it with someone else. Happiness belongs to the community not to the individual. You can be happy alone but will never feel happiness because happiness depends on love. That’s why I have been happy but I seldom felt happiness, so you can feel happiness without being happy and vice versa. Most of the people when they breathe they just take but someone who is happy when he breathes also gives, and when do you give? When you don’t have a deficiency but a remainder that you can share. But what good is this remnant if there is no one who wants it? We are humans, not animals: we do not only take but give, even if we don’t want.

But those needs are not being fulfilled in many instances because work and the more fulfilling opportunities are not there. Our societal structure is fairly bereft of fulfilling work, opportunities. This in my view is one of the vital requirements.

I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊
Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable.
Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Go to parableofthevineyard youtube channel for information about the bible and good bible studies. I'm in no way paid or sent by him for advertising. I just have learned a lot from his content. He's just a man who is trying to learn as well. :) Yeshua died so we may be resurrected to eternal life.....
