I've heard you get treated like trash and it's only for the weed-taking and smoking high schoolers who need cash but don't give a crap about service or "loving their jobs" (whatever that is). I was a welding supervisor for the same company for 30 years before I retired. Just 3 years before I retired we started buying robot welders to replace the human ones due to the humans not wanting to come to work. They believed their jobs were so secure because no one was coming in and applying for welding positions anymore. They were pissed when they decided to call in for an unscheduled day off and were told we no longer needed their service😂. The company was just waiting for a reason to let these guys go😂.

Well, the one thing that people don’t realize is that when robots eventually do take everyone’s job money will essentially be useless given that there wouldn’t be a way to make much of it. We would most likely have a new form of obtaining necessities and other things by then and nobody would have to worry about much. When businesses use robots over people to save on money, what they are actually doing is potentially putting themselves out of business should all the other businesses do the same. Nobody working? Nobody getting paid. Which leaves nobody to spend money after it’s all gone in the pockets of businesses.

At one of our dinners, Milton recalled traveling to an Asian country in the 1960s and visiting a worksite where a new canal was being built. He was shocked to see that, instead of modern tractors and earth movers, the workers had shovels. He asked why there were so few machines. The government bureaucrat explained: “You don’t understand. This is a jobs program.” To which Milton replied: “Oh, I thought you were trying to build a canal. If it’s jobs you want, then you should give these workers spoons, not shovels.”
The goal is the product not the work. This frees up humans to do more productive things since humans are amazing.
Stop using your cell phone since modern networks put switch board operators out of work, etc. etc.

good way to get rid of those crappy minimum wage jobs that suck that nobody likes I love it! I wish the same could happen in retail and other minimum wage jobs with crazy night shifts and stuff. sure teenagers in high school won't have jobs but at least they won't have a choice but to go to college or trade school and get an actual career instead of working at McDonald's or some minimum wage retail store as an adult and living with there parents like a lot of lazy milenials do. A lot of you may see it as a bad thing because of unemployment but honestly you can't survive off of the minimum wage which right now is $13 an hour unless you live with your parents or your a manger and you make more so I see it as a good thing that minimum wage jobs are being replaced with robots I hope that happens to all shitty and crappy paying minimum wage jobs in the future like construction laborers, minimum wage retail workers and stuff like that.

      ???
Many people need to work at fast food joints and in retail and live with their parents to afford trade school and college.

@@JeikuAnimeReview yeah it's pretty hard to save up for a tuition that's 30,000 a year on just $13 an hour unless you work your ass off and never enjoy your life when your still young.

@@JeikuAnimeReview also I personally know a couple of lazy loosers that are in there 20s and work minimum wage and live with there parents and aren't thinking of going to college or anything they don't even want to get promoted to become manager because there lazy and they say "it's too much work" for them but yet they want to get payed more.

      "30'000 a year"
See, it's THIS type of mentality that's so wrong, why tf would you go to a college or trade school that costs this much? Lmao.
Get an associates degree, two years at a community college in something, it's way closer to 6-7k a year, and if you're on federal aid assistance you'll get even some of that covered.
I literally paid like 2k a semester at a community college for general ed, and only paid more when I decided to go to a college with a speciality for a program.

@@JeikuAnimeReview that's what I'm doing community college but most parents can afford it way easier then someone working their ass off at a minimum wage job with financial aid.
