This could be in casinos because late at night most eateries are closed.

Interesting times we're in. This doesn't look extremely appetizing, but wait to see what it is in five years

Looks eible to me. If the cost of it goes down due to not having to pay for labour. I'd eat it quite often.

@@misamon8 That's hilarious that you thought for a second the cost of food will go down cause of no labor. The lowest bowl was $6.50, how much cheaper do you want it? Also restraunt owners look to make anywhere from 10-25% profit, so they will definitely not lower the price cause of no laborer's.

Sounds good. In theory, it seems like they could have this on 24/7. Might be particularly helpful in food deserts since the mediterranean menu is relatively healthy.

Alittle concern on the sanitation of those auto vending machines making hot food the good in it is that can be 24hrs.

I don’t know about this. It seems more efficient to serve prepackaged meals. It sounds good for desserts like ice cream or breakfast cereals, simple meals with customizable toppings.

about time we have something like this in the bay area! this is nothing new though as places in china, HK and singapore are already doing this for years. I can't wait to try this place out soon!

HK is back to being part of China, since the 90s.
Many restaurants in every G7 country have had some kind of automation.
Remember we already had Creator in Daly City....apparently they went out of business, alas.
I don't think humans should have to have jobs like this at all, so I strongly support it.

humans shouldn't have to do jobs like this. We should all do something intellectual. (markets will determine what those jobs will be....) 🙂

Is it cheaper than conventional drive thru? If not then what's the point? The only way this concept can ever succeed is if there is a cost benefit.

Ah, San Francisco liberals... Actually thinking this is new and innovative. They just need to look at Japan's vending machine industry for the past forty years.
Singapore has a machine that will custom make cotton candy in the design of your choice.
