  • A Texas official admitted law enforcement made the "wrong decision" not to go into the classroom where the Uvalde school shooting suspect was for 35 minutes.
"It was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision. Period ... We believe there should have been an entry. We don't have time," Steve McCraw, director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, said during a press conference. MORE: abc7.com/uvalde-texas-robb-el...

I just want everyone to imagine the situation. A knowingly armed gunman ran into an elementary school, the cops heard gun fire and screaming happening from inside and they sat back behind their cars hiding so they didn't potentially get hurt. Letting 6 year olds get gunned down in their place.
Those are the "heroes" protecting your community in Texas. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic that this happened.

Even Texas DPS says they handled this incorrectly. They treated this as a barricade situation rather than an active shooter situation. Officers went inside to save their own children while they let a demon lock himself in a room and torture children for an hour and 15 minutes. Most parents weren't even able to make visual IDs and have to get DNA identified because the injuries and location of injuries were so severe.
A teacher called saying 8 or 9 children were still alive and all they did was wait and put up caution tape. There is blood on those officers hand and I hope they go to sleep every night hearing the bullets they refused to try and stop
For the goobers that will be in comments:
In Uvalde 40% of their total yearly budget is going towards their police force so nowhere near underfunded
Stop putting these cowards on a pedestal and treating them like heroes. My father is in the Army and has broken his back for this country and would do it again, thats a hero. A hero isn't someone who listens to children getting shot, breaking active shooter training protocol.
