why do they put those curtains up anyway?
after all the judges have their backs to the performer.
They want to give the audience the same experience the coaches have - to hear the song without being biased by the look of the singer. However I am not a big fan of the curtains. Besides, the curtain of the first perfomance here is strangely transparent - you can already see that it is one singer (his vocal range could have indicated two singers) and probably a man.
There are many more people there besides the judges.
