He had a spring in his step and joy in his heart. That was a magnificent show he put on -- not ostentatious, but enough to let me know he really does love his job and takes pleasure in adding that bit of entertainment for his guests.

Street food has always been my favorite part of traveling. There isn’t a better way to get a grip on cultures than street food in my opinion.
I agree. McDonalds or PizzaHuts operates in every country. What's the point of travelling then. That's why one must always try the local cuisines in the streets.

I hope they use pure uncut charcoal and not soot mixed with dust & ink.
One of the things I've noticed about these street food creators is that some of them do their work quickly and competently, and seem happy enough with that. Sometimes that alone is worth marveling at. But then you get the ones who have _fun_ and make a show or a game of it, like the Dancing Char Khay Teow cook here. Both sorts can be fun to watch, but I'd much rather have fun doing my repetitive job than just do it by rote, with no real soul in it. As always, a delight to behold, you two. Thanks for the show!

As much as I enjoy their videos here, I don't follow these people outside of this channel, know nothing of their facebook or instagram accounts, and until now had no idea they were anything _other_ than a gentleman and a lady until just now.
Please don't assume everyone knows the background of the channel creators the way you do, especially when there's nothing on the channel itself mentioning the situation, and half the couple stays almost entirely off-camera.

The char kway tiao uncle caught my attention when I was having a meal there. The whole setup is in contrast with the other stalls in the hawker center, very simple with a big ass hood and cover. And the whole energizer-bunny frying style while cooking. The cooking fumes smell good!

Just found you dancing bacon! Been bing watching your videos. I love the fried flat noodle guy in this video! He was so animated and orchestrated his moves to dance to what he was making. Love it when people like him put love into each dish they make. This fancy footwork also keeps his back from killing him when he goes home at night.
