I think Heartstopper has one of the most perfect casting ever done! Everyone nailed their roles & stayed so true and authentic to their character. As someone whoâs been a longtime fan of the comics, the series made me fall in love with this story all over again!!

Sad that Tobie isn't in any interviews except some solo ones, but I'm sure since season 2 he should have more screen time so I'm hoping we'll see him
Kit- having older actors playing teenagers is toxic because of body image and stuff
Also kit- absolutely jacked
He still has a bit of a baby face though, and like Nick is not totally cut or anything.
He looks more healthy than jacked if you ask me.

On the makeup room they had a 15 year old picture of kit and they thought that Nick was casted wrong because of how young he looked
He actually said he felt pressured to start working out bc ppl were basically body shamming him. Saying heâs too small to play Nick
Kit is very articulate and well spoken. His opinion on 30 year old actors playing a 16 year old character shookt me. Love him and the whole cast â€ïž

Same, when he said that I just got very serious and was like "... omg, he's right". It was like something that I have experienced, but hearing it stated was like a ball slamming in my face
I think Joe is way better speaker. His articulation for an 18 year old is mind blowing.
Omg no wonder why Tara and Darcyâs chemistry is SO amazing and so believable in the show, look at these two here!! Kizzy and Corinna are the PERFECT Tara and Darcy. The perfect pair to play my favorite couple ever đđ

Right! Tara and Darcyâs actors look so similar to how they look in the comics, itâs so fun to see. And I love how they portrayed them honestly, positive representation like this means so so much

This show was everything. The casting couldnât have been MORE perfect and the show was so true to the comics and it all was just so wonderfully overwhelming to see this, a comic that Iâve absolutely adored for such a long time be unfolded on my tv, LIVE ACTION. IN COLOR. And, AUGH, I just canât explain it. They did so well with the adaptation. I was crying by the third episode bc I was just so happy to see how beautifully these scenes turned out!!

Do you mean unconventionally attractive? Because they are attractive but they look normal, not perfect like the runway models that are often cast in shows

@@choerrychile5042 it's crucial to not ship real people. For all we know, one of the actors may be in a relationship and us constantly shipping them together could make them uncomfortable. Also separating the actor from the role is crucial here.
they probably mean the chemistry the whole cast has, not just two of them, i could be wrong though

Kit Connor is everything
Darcy and Taraâs actors look SO similar to how Tara and Darcy look in the comics! Itâs so fun to watch them honestly, all the actors made the show so exciting to watch, they really brought it to life. :) Also I love how excited all of them were to get their parts haha.
Watching this show made me finally understand what "my heart is full" feels like...
I completely agree with Kit's explanation about why it's important to cast teenage actors in teenage roles!

They nailed the casting for Heartstopper I watched it in one sitting and they did AMAZING the whole cast sells the roles so well
This adaptation was SO MUCH like the books! Aside from the addition of Imogen and, like, a few events - it was so precise! Nick and Charlie's chemistry was off the charts. So so happy about how it turned out :)

I really REALLY loved the show but it makes me kinda sad that I wont ever have that life, I just get so jealous of how perfect they are, I love their story.
I think Kit Connor is phenomenal. He's the stand out of the show to me but I also reckon the whole cast is perfect. I want to see more of Tori, too! What a brilliant show Heartstopper is!

Love this cast!! It's like the roles were made for them, and them only. Also as someone from out of the UK who totally had no idea who they were, it felt refreshing to see new faces on such great plot. Literally the first time I watched the teaser, they kinda grew on me on the spot. This made me so eager to watch the series really!
