Murtasim's confession scene was soooo good that I watched it on loop and cried badly. How beautifully wahaj Ali portrayed the pain of a broken man who got rid of his dream because of his responsibilities.When meerab also cried after hearing murtasim's words that clearly shows how much she loves him.
In the case of marium, everyone is telling that meerab didn't listen to murtasim, she didn't trust him and all.
But meerab actually tried to stop marium from eloping till the last moment. If we look from meerab's perspective, Malik jubair actually presented himself as a decent guy. She tried to convince everyone but she couldn't. On the other hand marium was talking about suicide all the time. lastly she didn't had any option rather than helping marium to elope.
Maryam is the real culprit; she has been continuously emotionally blackmailing meerab… she has successfully ruined meerab & murtasim’s life this time

The confession scene was the best scene for me in the whole drama❤,🥺 poor baby wanted to be a photographer and i couldn't have asked for better confession than this, him being vulnerable infront of his wife and asking her to care of him and and his love for her❤

Murtasim's confession scene was so pivotal in how I felt and reacted to the following episodes and situations that came after it. Honestly one of the best and most impactful scenes of the drama. If this scene didn't exist it could have changed my views a lot and how strong my emotional reaction was to what happens next.
The OST has a newfound meaning, it never hit that hard before than it did during this scene... especially rewatching this scene after Eps 40-42...
That was best ever scene. Found a different murtasim there for me. He literally begged her. After all this meerab 😑😑

In meerab’s place she’s not wrong; she has been trying her level best to help maryam out of this forced marriage which once happened with her. But alas meerab has been trapped very badly this time .. though her intentions were so good & pure at the end of the day she became the villian in front of the family😢 poor girl
Loved you guys sharing personal stories towards the end. Glad Tere Bin gave us such an emotional scene where a man put himself in such an emotional, vulnerable place that we could have this conversation.
I just hated maryam in all these episodes. Just bcz of pyaar she's thinking so ill about Murtasim. I would never ever think of betraying my own family for some stranger

Okay guys this must be such a cool coincidence that Akash and Raj are wearing the same colors as Meerab and Murtasim in the beginning scene. I kinda loved it lol.
Speaking of something really well done, let's face the fact that Murtasim's past and his incomplete dreams not being about another girl was a fitting touch. This, if you actually think about deeply, now makes it all more tragic. It indicates that Meerab is his first and only love and he's truly unaware of the feeling of heartbreak in any unfortunate situation with her. This just indicates that all his feelings for Meerab are very important to Murtasim. Otherwise, if we were to get the backstory about his first love, it'd kind of give off the impression that he can move on from Meerab once again like he must've done before.

Jo bhi hai Let's not forget if it wasn't for meerab, Maryam would've eloped way back. She was anyways going to run away. Meerab was the one who convinced her not to, evrytime, by reminding her how it would affect her family's reputation, her khandaan ki izzat(ep 33). It was only after she started emotionally blackmailing meerab in this ep saying she'll commit suicide or hang herself, meerab considered helping maryam. Otherwise meerab constantly kept on saying "Murtasim jhoot Ni bolta,why would he lie, and that you shouldn't run away" but Maryam being dumb isko apne bhai par bilkul bhi nahi but anas par blindly trust hai. I hope iss sbke baad Maryam apna muh khole aur btae sbko ki how she constantly kept on blackmailing meerab and that it was meerab who stopped her and warned her at times, she was the only one who trusted Murtasim too.
PS. In no way am I trying to defend meerab helping maryam elope or her poor sense of judgement. I agree that she was stupid not to notice so many red flags but just saying that her intent was pure.its not that srs guys

I think all the viewers agree on this that meerab intentions were always right BUT THAT STILL doesn't change the fact that she BROKE MURTASIM TRUST and his straw which he mentioned earlier that was involving his family. that's the thing that's more highlighted.. also I believe meerab isn't a character that could be blackmailed SHE WANTED TO SO SHE DID IT
Meerab could have easily told this to murtasim. Meerab also knew murtasim will do anything for her . But she took decision.

Murtasim has tried to explain to Meerab so many times that she should not get involved and if she is then she should not do anything that will end up harming people. Her intentions can be good but that doesn't change her action and the consequences. Murtasim has literally begged her to be considerate with her actions and think about him if not anybody else. I hate that she still goes ahead and helps his sister elope.
Meerab is someone who has expectations from everyone else but she can't deliver the same. It doesn't matter if she thinks Anas is a good guy. He is still a stranger and she hardly knows him. How can you think helping Mariam elope is justified? She thinks the family will forgive her and Mariam for this act? Will she forgive people if they crossed her boundaries? No she still doesn't.
Like I said she is in a ride to learn from her mistakes and understand all her actions have consequences. She needs to start thinking beyond just her sense of right and wrong.

Murtasim talking about the sacrifices he has made hits very deep and I'm sure all those who are the eldest child in the family will understand him well. It was important because until now, Meerab was thinking it's only girls who make sacrifices but no there are times men also make sacrifices for their family but sadly they're encouraged to never talk about it. I just wish Meerab could've respected his vulnerability and kept his trust.

Another thing frustrating about Meerab is that she loves to use Murtasim's feelings of love for her to get her way but otherwise she doesn't want to accept his love. It's just such a sad thing that she is taking his kindness and love for granted to this extent. If he is ready to let so many things go for her, why is she never considerate about his feelings even for once? But like they say sometimes you only learn when you lose them.
