Later this year my girls are gonna have the opportunity to do Go Ape type activities and the size of this camera will make it easy to wear it and not restrict the harness in any way. I have the Insta360 X3 so this will make editing and combining the footage nice and easy. I don't film in 4K so that's not an issue for me

The double press didn’t work for me. I set it as “Photo” but nothing happened. And also, how can u make it stop beeping (go 3). And how can i disable the charging light on the Go 3 when i attach it to the action pod. Thank you
Go 3 now becomes both a vlogging camera and action camera. But have they solved the overheating issue? I have the go 2 and i like it because of it's small size that I can just put on my hat, my chest, and about anywhere with the magnet accesorries. And off course for short clips. Not really a fan of having a screen. i want to just look at the scene with my eyes instead of looking thru the screen. For vlogging, it's still better and more safe to use a gopro 11 or dji 3 and not have to think about overheating.
I just bought my new camera and I can't seem to lock or unlock the horizon meaning when I rotate my camera the camera rotates and does not lock on the horizon

It's mostly the same - But the battery is bigger and less prone to overheating than the GO 2. Video quality is the same.

How do I stay connected to wifi when I'm connected to go 3? It thinks stupid I have to be on that. Dji drones don't steal my wifi
Also, to complement my last comment: when you use the app using WiFi, it means any operation consumes your data plan in the phone.
Unable to Register my new Go3 as my mobile (Samsung Galaxy) cannot download the required Insta SoftWare as it is NOT compatible? Never mentioned, I wonder why? I tried a friend's Motorola and it didn't work either! Tech Support said "this is only compatible with certain phones" ! Why is this never mentioned on any reviews ???

how does horizon lock work? I tried setting it up in freeframe video mode but everytime i turn my camera it moves and even changes its rotation..
You need to turn on horizon lock in the insta360 app settings when you edit the footage

If you use iPhone SE 3, forget this camera. The app won't allow you to pair the device. The setup screen has not been optimised for iPhone SE 3. A bit weird, giving that the SE 3 is just 2022 release. Very bad devs working at this Chinese company obviously.
Can you still use the camera without having your phone on you and connecting to the app say you go exploring for two hours and leave your phone at home and i take it once you've link the camera on the app you never have to do it again.
Yes you don’t need your phone to operate the camera. Once the phone is connected then it’s a one tap connect to the camera

1.) Does the invisible selfie stick work with this (Go3)? Meaning, can I use Go3 as Insta X3 as well?
2.) The audio quality seems average, is there a way to connect external microphone?

The new black model is my voice, The finish of the camera is matt so not slippery
It should be worth noting-- You don't have to have the camera locked into the Action pod in order to use the pivot stand. The camera itself is designed to also lock into the stand so users can take video separately, without relying on the action pod. 😊

As a super fan of the GO 2, I'm quite disappointed. Its the same quality if you use the "free form" which is what everyone will be using anyways, not even a newer lens. I loved the case with built in mini tripod, it made it so easy to carry and use everywhere as it stood up by itself without incorrect angles.
I had a GO2 and had overheating issues😮😮 unable to use it for longer than 2 min footage..

The Insta360 App is Garbage now.... The "Speed" Option is useless now. Now you are only able to set the "Speed" for the whole clip 😕
Disappointed
My first impression is disappointment. For me, the beauty of the Go 2 was being easily pocketable. Being lite and slightly larger than an AirPod case, it was with me constantly. The case on the Go 3, while offering increased functionality, is chunky and heavy. I cannot imagine putting it in my pocket. Not to mention that I’m sure the lens cover would be scratched. In addition, leaving out haptic feedback was a big mistake. I depended on vibration to know when we turned on/off the camera.
Much of this can be addressed by third parties. The Go 2 sticky mount and 1/4 mount were my most used accessories. We need Go 3 versions. We also need some sort of simple case or cover so the Go 3 camera unit can be carried in a pocket and avoid damage. As for haptic feedback, nothing can be done.
Frankly, I am at a loss as to Insta360 strategy. It seems like they want to turn the Go X line into a wannabe GoPro.
and comes with an extremely vague and insufficient user manual.. I guess they are relying on you guys to teach the uninformed inexperienced first time users how to actually use the device because without you I would be up shit creek.. so thank you!

欺騙觀眾，go3問題多到數不清，千萬不要相信這個騙子。機身充電發熱燙手，充滿只有15分鐘拍攝，不開機也漏電，不能隨開隨拍，下載己拍攝影片超慢，等到太陽下山都未完，開機要等十幾秒後才能拍攝，沒有吊線孔，掛頸靠額外購買配件，64G只能拍不足2小時的1080片，面部特寫光暗轉位沒有反應，最恐怖的是磁吸夾著衣服隨時鬆脫，帽夾也是無夾力，掉落在街上少則破壞，大則丟失。完全無法忍受這樣的所謂運動相機，浪費我近三千元的血汗錢！😢
